  1. Preety cool website... Breaks down the whole day in a nice paragraph...
  2. Yes we DO know what we have in Florence. A guaranteed pass interference/holding/illegal contact call every game.
  3. I've said this on another thread but I'll say it a different way this time around. I say make a bold move by keeping Florence and then trade both him and McKelvin in a package deal for a 4th round draft choice. If there's a team out there looking to draft a CB in the later rounds why wouldn't they want Florence and a former 1st rounder? Then with that draft choice we pick up we use it on a young CB. Then in free agency we can pick up a mid tier CB for depth. When the NFL draft comes around I say we go : 1st round - DE/LB 2nd round - DE/LB 3rd round - CB 4th round - CB (from Florence McKelvin trade) 4th round - TE/T/WR 4th round - TE/T/WR (Evans trade to Baltimore) 5th round - TE/T/WR 5th round - LB/DE (Lynch trade to Seattle) 6th round - LB/DE 7th round - WR (pray to find another Stevie) Our CB's will then be Williams/McGee (starters), Rogers/Mid Tier CB from FA/Rookie/Rookie (backups).
  4. Just so I understand clearly, so you like McKelvin right?
  5. Yes we're under the cap but we're also shopping for cornerbacks. Signing McGee to a restructured deal means the FO wants McGee to be a part of the team. We can still go after a CB if that's what you're asking.
  6. Either way I think It's a bright side of my day to hear 24 will be back. He's one of the few originals on the team and just seeing him on the field makes me feel comfortable to go up against any (yes I said it) any WR. Not saying he's Revis or anything but he can sure play CB when he's healthy. Doesn't get beat like McKelvin and doesn't grab and pout like Florence. I personally would give Florence AND McKelvin both to a team who needs depth in kick returns and CB for a 4th rounder. I'll even take a 5th if that's their final offer. With that pick I'll flip a coin on any CB that's on the board in the draft and I'll bet you that pick would work out better than both those guys. McKelvin's final straw with me was last year. I can now say he sucks. Florence grabs just as much as Revis does but at least Revis hides it well and doesn't have to reach too far to grab cuz he stays with the receiver like a shadow.
  7. I hope the incentive is reasonable. If McGee plays 12-16 games then it would be worth it.
  8. I'm fine with the same money deal because a healthy and playing McGee is worth it and if he gets injured then he doesn't get paid the full contract. Works for both sides.
  9. Uh oh... This is a very unexpected move. I can't say I'm upset at all because we're a bit short on CB's and the keyword being "restructured" means less money given. McGee knew he didn't have a shot at making good money on another team so I'm glad players know their own worth once in awhile. Buddy definitely is playing chess when we thought he was playing checkers. Everybody had McGee out the door in posts. Buddy's far from a checkmate let alone a check, but it was a good first move IMO.
  10. You guys are bored and fell into a deep sleep and are dreaming. Forget RGIII and Luck... Next year's topic is QB. This year is WR, DE and LB. Oh and signing our own talent.
  11. We're not drafting RG the third so.....................................
  12. Tell him lunch is on him then. I actually like the way McGee hits better than Donte. McGee hits like the batman cartoons. BAM!! POW!!! POOM!!!! @#!?*%$@#
  13. I concur. Donte isn't all that great. The only thing I liked about him was that he was born in July and that he's a Cancer sign like me, to only find out that although he IS born in July he was born on the 24th which makes him a Leo and a relief off my shoulders for defending a guy like him when he would act retarded. I kept saying to myself "hey self, why is this dumbass acting like that? It's so not the Cancer in him." Now it all makes sense.
  14. This link sucks. It talks about some soccer stuff and then skips the Nix interview and goes straight to baseball news.
  15. By downward side do you mean any year now he will retire? I live in nyc also and one of my real close friends is a giants fan and we usually watch the games together and he loves Osi. The only reason why he didn't miss him when he got injured is because they have an abundance of good defensive ends. As far as Osi not being a respected leader? You couldn't be more wrong. He has attitude yes. But maybe that's what we need on the team. Someone with emotion. Enough with the nice guy attitude. This is football.
  16. Yea that's why if I ever did buy endzone tickets it would have to be opposite the jumbotron...
  17. I would give up our 3rd and our 4th rounder we got for Evans for Osi. If they also want a player I wouldn't mind giving them Jones or McKelvin. That would leave us with 7 draft picks and an addition of Osi. Draft day. 1st pick - DE or LB 2nd pick - Whichever position of the choices from the first pick we didn't get. 3rd pick (4th round) - Tackle. 4th pick (5th round) - CB. 5th pick (5th round) - CB. 6th pick (6th round) - T/WR/LB/TE take your pick. 7th pick (7th round) - T/WR/LB/TE take your pick. Free Agency. Good thing free agency comes before the draft. We need to sign Stevie. If not then Buddy needs to pull the trigger on a #1 receiver and also get a mid tier WR to compliment being the #2. Depending on how free agency plays out I definitely wouldn't mind Osi instead of the much more expensive Mario Williams.
  18. It was... I was so angry that when I was yelling in his face spit was coming out while I was talking and then the guy said I spit on him... Hence the alleged part... You're fine at 136 believe me... That puts you around the 20-30 yard line... The closer you get to the 50 the more fans have sticks up their assez... Team members families and such also get seats around midfield... The better fans IMO sit farther away from the 50 but 136 or 135 is where I usually buy my tickets also... I've never watched a game from the endzone... It seems like the crowd is CRAZY there but if I ever did it would have to be on the opposite end of the big screen... I can't believe we only have one tv at the Ralph...
  19. Question - Did you choose 131 or did they offer it?
  20. You can also find me in various seats throughout the year as I buy single game tickets. Those who have sat around me can hear me scream without question and I am most famous for getting kicked out of Ralph Wilson stadium for allegedly spitting on a fellow Bills fan's face for telling me to sit down cuz he couldn't see. Meanwhile it was 3rd down defense so how bout you stand UP? Like I said, allegedly.
  21. As far as the money he got paid you're right. He didn't earn it. But to hand out statistics like you and to say the defense got better from game 6 to 16 is insane. What's stats compared to wins and losses. Merriman contributed to a couple of wins even though there are no stats to prove it. All you can do is watch film and see he was being doubled in week 1 and 2 then after week three he started losing a pep in his step. There are also other ways a player can contribute. By being a leader. The way he was huddling the team up before games and getting them ready was something I haven't seen in the Bills in a very long time. Ray Lewis can have his teammates play better even when he's not on the field. You always need leadership. Especially amongst your peers. It's one thing to prove to a coach you're worth being on the field but its another thing to show your teammates that you're worth sharing the same field. All in all? Whether you like merriman or not, this is his last year anyway. I for one hope he doesn't get cut and stays healthy and shows all the non believers what he's made of. Worst case scenario? He gets injured for the season and the Merriman talks will be put to rest next year.
  22. Today's players are built not born... This IS the matrix...
  23. I say let go of Florence ( I really do believe he's the disease of the team and I hate his play ). Let go of McGee. Keep McKelvin ( just in case the corners need to get blaimed for poor play he's at least experienced in that dept. ) Start Williams. Start Rogers ( Chan don't give me no crap about we didn't want to start him at corner AND have him returning kicks ). Then draft a corner and pick up two free agent corners all who should give Rogers competition and maybe beat him to a starting role. Oh and let Reggie walk also unless he can come back for a decent price.
