PLACE YOU BETS NOW..... How long after Romney takes the top spot does another flood of stories titled "Concerns about Romney's Mormonism" hit the beach? I say two days. It is a clear fact that our politicians do the wonderful job they do, because of the partisan divide we have. That statement was meant to be nonsense. President Obama is not the socialist that the right makes him out to be and Gingrich isn't the scandalous clod the left makes him out to be (although the hair is terrible). I still don't know what to make of President Bush- he increased spending to include two wars and numerous other things and decreased taxes- and be 'he", I mean the whole government- not him. If it seems like I equivocate on everything, it is because being successful will include a delicate balance of ideas from the right and left- if one side's ideas would fix everything, there would only be one side. I bet the percentage of Americans who voted for Obama and knew he voted "present" in the Illinois state legislature 129 times was less than 1 percent. Socialism isn't what is best for our country, but it is downgraded by people in our country more than it should be. No economic system is evil- they all can be useful in certain settings. People just like to downgrade what they are told not to like- just like republicans are tirelessly berated in my family gathering.....I won't even get into that..... Romney HAS been at the top, and the reason why he isn't quite as savaged as the rest is well.... It's a small sample size, but there really isn't a viable presidential candidate in the group for a variety of reasons. I don't know.....there were a whole lot of liberals extremely concerned about Cain's "victims" a week or two ago. Since Cain went down a few points their concern for the "victims" seemed to have disappeared. It could have been Alan Colmes mumbling something about Newt or one of their other liberal guests saying something in a panel discussion. I guess all I'm pointing out is that the alphabet media is taking turns jumping on whoever seems to be the flavor of the day for the Republicans. They appear to want to dirty everyone of them. I mentioned Barney Frank's misdeeds that included protecting a failed program that his boyfriend was involved with and said that was part of the real scandal.
