UFO Found on Ocean Floor?

DISCLAIMER: Despite the thread, and my proclivity for this stuff (in reality and in jest), I'll state at the front that I'm not making any conclusions on ....

* :55-:57 mark you can kind of see the movement (like balloons) as well as the pulsing.

I have many comments on this which I will have to share one by one as I can because:

1. The length of your post would make OC in Buffalo discover the edit function.

2. Code name Ennifer has popped up, as if from nowhere, and is threatening all sorts of harm if I can't deliver both Beerboy and Sage to her in the next 36 hours. I have an idea about how to trick Beerboy but Sage is off the grid.

3. My hamster is so mad about today's trade that I fear for Beane's safety. He is plotting to shove Carl and I quote "so far up that geeks behind that she will chew her way out of his eardrum". I don't like the trade either but I feel bad for Carl.

Anyway for now I will just point out that the quote I left in reminded me of the "old man gets back into the dating scene" thread because I'm pretty sure John envisioned the involvement of a "pulsing balloon" on his date that never happened.

 Understandable. It sounds like you got more pressing matters to attend. Tell Sammy if he needs a getaway driver, I know a guy.

Skydivers.

I've been twice. Coolest thing I've ever experienced.

These guys were probably training for their invasion of N. Korea XD

That was one of my first thoughts.

But look at the speed (and shape/appearance) of the one that zoomed past. That wasn't a skydiver.

Based on how many there where and their "flight path", if they were skydivers they would have been landing on one of LA's busiest streets in the middle of rush hour.

Well, throughout the video they got lower and relatively faster (from your vantage point). Those guys are trained to come in fast and land in specific locations. I can't speak to your surroundings, obviously, but this looked exactly like a training jump.

Don't be such a buzzkill. It's more fun egging on Greggggy than to point out the most logical explanation

I'm looking for the most logical explanation:)

If it had been skydivers, there would have been at least 50 of them. The only spot to land close to me that isn't in the middle of a major street would be the Santa Monica Airport or the golf course. But any news reports/coverage of that happening hasn't appeared in any paper or local news report that I've managed to find.

The other oddity if we're going to say skydivers, is the fact the ones that buzzed low re-gained altitude after doing so. The first shots of the video of the ones wayyyy up in the air were only moments before skimming the treeline.

Is that something Skydivers can typically do? (Asking because I don't know - though I would assume not)

UFO landed in Buffalo and made the Bills do the big trade

Could be the answer!

Rebumping this to this page for the heck of it:

DISCLAIMER: Despite the thread, and my proclivity for this stuff (in reality and in jest), I'll state at the front that I'm not making any conclusions on this yet. If I were, ET would be far down the list (for now  ). Forgive the ****ty camera work and editing.

That out of the way... a little set up of what you're looking at:

These are 7 videos put together that stretch between 7:06pm - 7:22pm yesterday.

Time stamps:

* First thirty seconds are kind of tough, showing the higher altitude ones that had just buzzed me

* :40 second mark you see some new ones coming in, lower and closer.

* :55-:57 mark you can kind of see the movement (like balloons) as well as the pulsing.

* 1:51 - 1:57 mark you will see one moving across the top, spinning, it gives you some of the shape

* 2:11-2:17 mark you can see more movement (these are new ones, not the same as the ones above)

* 3:15-3:26 mark good shot of one close, moments after it buzzed the path I was standing on, moves like balloons... but way faster and they're glowing.

* 3:33-3:52 mark has another one dipping low, then a zoomer (the only one I got on film, but there were several others) that flew past real fast. This one is slowed down at the end and zoomed in as best I could.

*4:35-5:21 mark has three more coming in on the "flight path". By that I mean, you see how they're high in altitude and moving lower. That's how most of them came in, in a straight line from that high altitude and then down where they spread out, then reformed into a line and moved on at a lower altitude. This also includes the description of these things.

I know you're a reasonable dude, so don't take my posts the wrong way.

1. 50 sky divers? Why?

2. The air field. There's part of your logical answer.

3. Considering I could be wrong and this is an alien invasion, are you armed and stocked with food? You're gonna be in the ****.

Other possibilities:

Drone prototype testing.

Unknown science experiment.

 This is all in good fun, don't worry. Especially in this thread. You can say anything you wish to me (or about me) I know it's just goofing and I don't take it seriously:)

I'll answer these though because I sincerely am looking to explain what I saw (and ET is far down my list):

1. I say at least 50 because that's how many I saw over the 30+ minutes of this sighting. The video is a collection of 7 videos strung together, it doesn't give a good sense of the scale of how many these were because I am a bad photog and was too busy looking through my binoculars to film continuously. I think there were over 50 of these things, but 50 is a conservative floor. They were coming from high altitude (over the large palm tree in the video shots for reference) which is out over the ocean, and moving inland. When I saw their flight path, skydivers is what I thought (or flares) because it would make sense... but then others just kind of showed up (from the same direction, just from a much lower angle).

2. I'm real close to the Santa Monica airport so that's what I thought as well. But it's one of the busiest private airports in the country and I was watching the private jets on their flight paths into the airport while this was happening (meaning they didn't seem to be clearing the airspace for them to land - the airport isn't big by any stretch). The biggest reason I doubt this is because I think it would have made the news (or social media) by now. Then again, ETs landing would have too you imagine. Either way, it's been radio silence.

3. It's earthquake country here so we're prepared for a few days of having to survive in the rubble. My ladyfriend won't let me get any weapons (and I'm a non-violent kind of guy anyway) but I got my version of Lucille handy if needs be.

4. Drones is still what I think could be the answer. I don't know how to describe what they looked like when I was seeing them in the binocs. I was able to see the ones lower to the ground pretty clearly, with an image stabilizer. It really looked like flares at first because of the smoke. There were two rings of smoke, one inside the other, and the smoke was clear, almost like a jellyfish in translucence, and inside the smoke were twinkle lights, they looked exactly like twinkle lights on a christmas tree.

The other thing I'll note in the video, towards the middle when I get some of the lower ones that appear to be reflecting the sun - they're not reflecting the sun. They're pulsing. With the naked eye I thought they were reflecting the sun, it wasn't until you put the binocs on them that you saw the pulses clearly emanating from them.

I really expected to have heard this was some sort of viral marketing campaign by now to be honest. We get those a lot. But those usually have a pretty loud social media presence when they happen.

  • 2 weeks later...

 Understandable. It sounds like you got more pressing matters to attend. Tell Sammy if he needs a getaway driver, I know a guy.

Finally got to watch. Sammy and Ennifer thing STILL not resolved though.

Observations:

1. Cosmic84 is a bad screen name. Generally combining your hobby and IQ into a screen name is a bad look. I still regret Broadspayme216.

2. Please invest

3. Another good idea.

4. I think skydivers and the effects were reflections but you may have seen more that didn't really show up on camera. Drones not out of the question. Also i did not totally eliminate the possibility of......wait for it..........
