The Big Cat
"To me i learned something about our football team out there, dont ask me what thats my business....ive gotta build on what i learned today"- CG Â Too many mental mistakes = couldn't bounce back from Pittsburgh loss. Totally out of sync.

1B4IDie
He saw who the quitters are, and he learned that Maybin cannot shut his mouth. I watched Maybin on the bench from the stands and the young man almost never stopped talking to someone or something, while the person or inanimate object just starred at him, like "who are you, again?". San Jose Bills Fan
Probably learned he still needs to replace half the roster. I agree. I think he saw just how far the talent needs to be upgraded to be a truly good football team. He has nothing to gain by admitting this though. dayman
I think the idea that he saw a few quite and perhaps is frustrated with some coaches in addition to realizing how ****ed they are on the Oline now is what he was referring to.

billsfan89
Gailey learned that the O-line and Front 7 is far away from being a playoff bunch. We need at best for the offensive line need a starting RT and a quality interior Lineman and a quality backup tackle. I will take Ubrick as a backup Guard but there needs to be another interior Lineman and a backup tackle. Â The front 7 is completely devoid of a linebacking core aside from Poz (Who is above average at best and he always seems to miss games). Also the D-line isn't good either Kyle Williams is a beast but the DE's are mediocre at best. Â Our secondary isn't bad and I am sold on Fitz and the skill position players (Out side of Tightend) but the rest of the team needs big time draft and free agent resources put into it. Bob in STL
"To me i learned something about our football team out there, dont ask me what thats my business....ive gotta build on what i learned today"- CG Â From what I saw he could have learned these things, in this order: Â Â 1. Preparing for a talented team on the road in a dome takes more work. Â 2. LT position not as good as he might have thought. Â 3. More talent and depth needed on OL. Â 4. McKelvin might just be the dumbest player in the NFL. Â 5. Hangartner is a valuable part of the team. Â 6. Nelson could end up his best WR. Â 7. 10 ways to use a TE if only he had one. Â 8. McCargo is as bad as he thought. Â 9. Find me some linebackers Nix! Â 10. Those Viking Cheerleaders sure look good.
outsidethebox
It took a 2-10 record to finally find things out? Did he have his head buried in the sand the last three months? Just a little slow on the uptake there Chan. To bad he didn't notice it during training camp. Maybe we would not be 2-10 right now.

The Bills lost to a 4-2 Baltimore team, in overtime, on the road. The Bills lost to a 4-2 Kansas City team, in overtime, on the road. The Bills lost to a 4-3 Chicago team by a field goal, on the road.  The Bills then beat Cincinnati on the road and Detroit at home.  The Bills then lost to a 7-3 Pittsburgh team, in overtime, on the road.  That's six weeks of very solid football against good teams on the road.  But you've got a better grasp on reality than Coach Gailey? Okay.

Dr. Trooth
I think he was upset that Fitz got hit so many times and not one ofensive lineman took issue with it. If I'm the HC, I don't want offensive lineman that don't take it personal when their QB gets his ass kicked. I'd want lineman that would get seriously physical with the oppostion's defensive line/LBs. You can't teach that... either you're a prideful competitor or you're not. Wood is the only OL that has that mentality.
