Hopefully everyone keeps buying these DVDs and he can rake in many very small residual checks. I guess the whole experience of being on the set of that show was great though. All the 'stars' that he interacted with were cool and they really treated all the 'little actors' like him well. He had his own trailer and everything. You have already hit most of my favorites: Star Wars The Day the Earth Stood Still Blade Runner Alien Fifth Element Planet of the Apes 2001, 2010 I liked both of the H.G. Wells adaptations - War of the Worlds and Time Machine - late 50's early 60's? Food of the Gods was a farce. It is one of my favorites although I doubt I could pick an all time favoite. But it is my all time favorite remake. Never thought they could do the original justice, but they did. Originally the wardrobe people had him wearing this big WWI-era German helmet but they decided at the last minute not to do that because it looked, well, ridiculous. As far as series go, I thought Space 1999 was kind of interesting, although I enjoyed the original Star Trek and the Next Generation more. I have always been amazed that there are not more and better sci-fi movies and tv series. Sci-fi is very popular and many sci-fi books are very interesting, imaginative and thought provoking. It - the Terror from Beyond Space was the movie I saw as a kid where a spaceship landed on Mars and returned to earth with an Alien aboard. It was actually the precursor to Alien.
