  1. Make it like the old Superstars show; weightlifting, obstacle courses, sprints, and outrigger canoe races in the ocean.
  2. What argument did I lose? You're hallucinating.
  3. I never heard of The Doors before I saw the movie Apocalypse Now, but after that I was hooked. One of my favorite bands.
  4. The nature of war in WWII between nations is totally different than the sectartian violence within the colonial borders of countries in the Middle East. You can't compare them. If not for oil and Israel, we would treat the Middle East like we do wars in Africa. It's always been about economics and politics, regardless of political party.
  5. Not under the rug, but under the sea...
  6. 'Gregory Hicks, the No. 2 U.S. diplomat in Libya the night Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed, was to be the star witness for Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the man leading the probe of the Obama administration’s handling of the attack on the diplomatic outpost in Benghazi. But despite Issa’s incautious promise that the hearing’s revelations would be “damaging” to Hillary Rodham Clinton, Hicks didn’t lay a glove on the former secretary of state Wednesday. Hicks was of little use to Republicans in their efforts to connect the lapses in the Benghazi response to Clinton or to the Obama White House. He said that he spoke to Clinton by phone at 2 a.m. that night and that she supported his actions. He undermined one of Issa’s claims — that Clinton had rejected an increase in security for the Libya facilities — when he agreed that the secretary of state’s name appears on all cables, even if she doesn’t write them.' http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/dana-milbank-whistleblowers-yarn-fails-to-tie-benghazi-lapses-to-politics/2013/05/08/fb436cd4-b82e-11e2-b94c-b684dda07add_story.html
  7. So this is the opening salvo for the 2016 election. Blame Hillary and see what sticks. Don't forget that she killed Vince Foster. I'll bet some of you still believe Iraq had WMD and was an imminent threat. You'll believe whatever supports your preconcieved conclusions.
  8. Their new slogan is: "Suffering will only cost you 4% more". I can't remember the last time I had more faith in Bills management than Sabres, but I do now.
  9. Or he is a nudist and the neighbors have complained.
  10. Taro Tsujimoto
  11. You can't handle the truth. My point has been that as bad as the Bills have been, they need players that can play this year. If and when they need another RB, there will be plenty to choose from.
  12. Teams with good QBs and lines can win with any halfway decent RB, or RB by committee. See New England, Green Bay, or Denver as examples. Great RBs don't win without the rest. See Sanders, Simpson, or Peterson.
  13. Gms pick the coaches. If they pick the coach's preferences, and the coach and players don't succeed, it ultimately is the GM's fault. So the GM should get fired with the coach. Unfortunately you can't fire the owner who picked the GM.
  14. Teams keep trying to pick him, but they spelled his name on the cards as Derrick or Derik or The Rick, and they end up with another guy.
  15. I just hope they don't waste roster spots again on multiple kickers. Pick one and live with him.
  16. Nix gets the blame because he didn't lose his job along with the coaches who did. GMs trump coaches when it comes to picking players. Just like Darcy Regier is to blame for the Sabres woes.
  17. Remind me what round Fred Jackson, the guy you all want a replacement for, was drafted in.
  18. Has it been good since he was drafted? How many playoffs or winning seasons has he contributed to? They had needs on both lines, and passed on linemen like Anthony Davis and Jason Pierre Paul, who both have been impact players for their playoff teams. Gotcha indeed. That kind of picking shiny toys mentality like CJ and Roscoe are why they have been perennial losers.
  19. Ralph considers Buddy to be a young man. Guys younger than Buddy are whippersnappers in short pants.
  20. Spiller was a bad pick as well, a luxury pick when we had other RBs and pressing needs on the lines. I don't care how good he might be, it was the wrong position pick at the time.
  21. Along with plenty of drafted RBs, including 1st rounders. So you use your draft picks to fill needs, and get the RBs in free agency.
  22. So then you pick up a free agent to spell Spiller and Choice. Spiller should be on the field for most plays anyways. RB is the easiest position to fill. I remember some undrafted free agent, what's his name? Oh yeah, Arian Foster.
  23. Just say No to RB. Make the playoffs before you make luxury picks.
  24. When you're a playoff team like SF you can stockpile potential players like Lattimore.
