  1. Helped my son pack up the car and said a sad goodbye as he went off into the world. He graduated from RIT this year and is moving to Boston to start his new job.
  2. Wallet in one pocket, phone in another, keys in another, snack in another. Don't have to sit on your wallet when driving. A real mans shorts. Not fashionable for those guys who wear skinny jeans and dress shoes without socks.
  3. Cugalabanza is named after a delicious NYS Fair treat of deep fried egg noodles and sushi.
  4. Get a plastic ladle with a long handle. You can reach from behind to cup them without crop dusting your arm. Or look into the Squatty Potty to raise your junk. http://www.squattypotty.com/
  5. If you don't plan on having any more kids, you could solve the problem by getting castrated. Plus your wife would probably enjoy a calmer you.
  6. "Be kind to the people you meet on the way up, because you're going to meet the same people on the way down." - Ralph Kramden on The Honeymooners
  7. Just finished the first season of Colony on USA. Set in LA, about how people deal with a post-invasion Earth that is totally repressed by the alien invaders (who most people have never seen) who rely on humans to do their dirty work. Like a modern Vichy France, with collaborators and resistance. It shows the best and worst of humanity. Stars Josh Holloway (Lost) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead).
  8. Smokin' in the Boy's Room - Brownsville Station Rock'n Roll part 2 - Gary Glitter I Melt With You - Modern English
  9. The story was OK, but the crew was so old by then it made it tough to watch.
  10. I don't think it's fair to compare the movies to the tv series. In retrospect TNG was awful in it's first two seasons, from the overacting to the bad synthesized music. It took awhile for it to hit it's stride. The latest movies didn't have that break-in period. Regarding the movies, I liked both of the recent reboots. I nice mix of nostalgia for old timers with updates and action for the young who never watched (although I don't like the Spock-Uhura relationship). More of the original and TNG movies were bad than good. There's only 3 that I would say were good; Khan, Whales, and Borg. One thing that has always disappointed me about the movies is their portrayal of aliens. I can understand if the tv shows didn't have the budget to do more. They're always humanoid and look like an actor with some body paint and simple face applications, like you could see on Face Off. And too many speak perfect English. I liked the TNG version of the Klingons and the Borg. The newest version of the Klingons is a step back. Given the CGI possibilities, it's time they created some non-humanoid characters. I'd like to watch the new tv series, but I'm not paying for another service. Hopefully my son will find them for free on the inter-web.
  11. I had reservations, but I'd bury the hatchet and pitch a teepee.
  12. Actually the Bills are quite good at leaving plenty of axes right within reach.
  13. This is all a smoke screen to get people to stop talking about his misleading statements about Shaq's health and ability to play.
  14. I don't think you're allowed to report on if your golf game improved over the winter because that was not official golf season.
  15. She probably tells her guy, "Could you please buy a lawn mower so I don't have to keep paying the creepy guy next door with cheap thrills. He gets distracted ogling me and already hit a rock and cut the hose".
  16. The moment has already passed. I can't wait any longer, time to cut the lawn.
  17. This has been the worst tv coverage yet. Too many people involved, too many commercials. Give me the two day draft where they showed every pick announcement at the podium and then they talked about it.
  18. Thank you, I'll admit if I'm wrong. Why don't you?
  19. You keep using words like train wreak, I've said he's average. Not bad, but not good enough to win in the playoffs, if they ever get there. And that's the goal.
  20. If he's the best since Bledsoe, it just points out how bad the Bills have handled the QB position. Jones is a long term project, EJ is a bust, and Taylor is average. When Taylor wins a couple of playoff games, I'll admit I'm wrong. Until then the facts are on my side. Rinse and repeat at QB.
  21. I'm just pointing out what he did, while some of you prefer to speculate that he is the answer for years to come without evidence he will improve, because you're willing to settle for average and let the Bills management off the hook for not being more aggressive for years in acquiring a true potential playoff winning QB.
  22. There's a difference between hoping he goes to pieces, and recognizing his limitations and realizing he's not the answer. Some fans are happy settling for average.
  23. He's unproven, the small resume from last year showed his limited ability to see the whole field. I don't hate him, he's just another in a long line of average Bills QBs. I blame the Bills management.
