Probably a tad of an exaggeration but I really am shocked as to how far this offense has come in the last 6 weeks.I think at this point, Chan should be focused on which QB in the draft he can develop overf the next two years. I doubt Mallett has the mobility he wants so I do wonder as to who he might be looking at in rounds 2-4. Anyone have some ideas on a Gailey type of guy?

If these guys can continue to play at the level they have been for the past few weeks, it is going to be a hell of an atmosphere with all the Steelers fans in attendance. I admit now that this will be the first game I will really be cheering LOUDLY for the win. Something feels different about today's win than last week against hapless Detroit. I do love the fact that it is the first team in YEARS that actually makes half-time adjustments. If only Fitz could cut out those 1-2 horrendous throws a game. RT should be the only priority on the offensive side of the ball. A HEAVY dose of Defense in free agency and the draft could could make for an interesting 2011. I give Gailey all the credit in the world for creating this offense and it looks like it took about half a season to start getting the defense on board. Fired up for Sunday again!

Regardless of what side of the fence people are on, you cannot deny that this only means good things from here on out as far as building a successful mentality... "It was awesome," Fitzpatrick said. I guess what I don't understand is why people care what other people think about wins or losses in this strange season. I'll be the first to admit I was leaning towards losses a few weeks ago and I loved the win today....

So what gives you the right to determine who and who are not fans. I guess since my family is one of the few original season ticket holders, it means I am no longer longer a fan since I would have preferred a franchise QB who was within our sights a few weeks ago. Now that Luck is out of the picture, I would love to win every game. Maybe there still some people who want to lose because they think we can still get luck - I know I won't pass any judgment on those people as to if they are fans or not. Give it a freakin' rest.

Why don't you get back to this board when they beat a team that is not Detroit or Cinci. If these guys can pull off a win against someone like Pitt at home, THEN and ONLY then will the minds be swayed from wanting to lose to GREAT victory.

If he stays in school, nobody gets him. If he comes out Carolina will never pass on him with a new coach arriving. The good thing is that Buffalo will have a shot at Mallett if they think he is worth it. The other thing is that Carolina would have taken best D man available if Luck was not coming out - now that falls to Buffalo if they so choose......

I think that I am settling in to the idea that Fitz will be the starter here and we need to draft the best D guy available. Hopefully, they can find some sort of LB in free agency and this will re-energize the secondary that most of us thought was elite......Fitz will most likely make that mistake or two in the game but with a much improved D, maybe the Bills can start winning these close ones.....

Well, I'll be the first one to admit that the few times I have seen Locker play, he has looked relatively good. That, on top of the hype, was pushing me in one direction. Hearing how he has free fallen in recent weeks along with tonights performance makes me want to stay far away from this kid. It seems as though the coaches are afraid to even let this kid throw the ball. I suppose now it's time to see how Mallett plays over the next few weeks and if that flames out, you have to go heavy D. Pretty bizarre how only 2 months ago, this was supposed to be the deepest QB class in some time. From the way it's looking, if Luck does not come out, it could be one of the worst.........

That's the odd thing. Even after all the naysayers have pulled Locker down, there is something that is very intriguing about him. I honestly don't think I would be upset if they took Luck, Mallett or Locker with their pick (which I think is going to be #3 or 4. Call me crazy but I really think if Mallett is taken and luck stays in school, Locker is going to be their guy......

The funny thing is that the Bills would be the ONLY ones considered an upgrade.....

This happens whether Luck comes out or doesn't. The only way this does not happen is if we pick up a QB in free agency (doubtful). Buffalo will not risk getting a QB in the 2nd...We better start hoping that Locker looks damn good his last few games. Fitz is fine to be the middle of the road 7-10 win guy but if you ever want to make some noise in the playoffs vs the top teams, those wide open receivers need to be hit with consistency. Even if there are only a couple big throws he misses a game, it will be enough to keep this team from the next level......

Some total idiot 3 seats down from me threw up all over himself in the first quarter and a good portion of it hit the coat a some 70plus year old guy. On the other side of him was a 6 year old kid (with a Detroit helmet on...This putz proceeded to throw up two more times by the time Q1 ended. Some people just don't deserve to be let out in public.
