  1. Yea, Brady, Brees and Manning have not won many games (and Super Bowls) in the league...please
  2. I really don't think Carolina is going to pick a QB now that Luck is not coming out. It is well known that Carolina's GM really likes Claussen and only someone like Luck would have probably made them pick QB again. I have not seen Newton play but I will be the first one to admit that if he has a great game and the Bills pick him, it would be pretty exciting. Having said that, I would be VERY happy with Fairley but I really don't think he will be there at 3.
  3. Trust me, I am VERY glad to be wrong on this one. First, he is in the NFC, second, he is going to a team with ZERO QB. Now let's see if Niners go 0-16 on purpose.....
  4. Just a hunch. If Luck would have come out, I think you would have seen Harbaugh in Carolina or Denver. Now that he is not, these coaching vacancies leave nothing but failure for the guy taking over.....
  5. I think his ego is getting so big that he would never go to a team (no matter how much $$) without a top 10 QB in place. My $$ is on him staying at Stanford and working some package deal with a team that brings him and Luck in 2012. Good for him I suppose but he is starting to bug me.....
  6. All I can say is that I am fine with Fitz as the starter in 2011 but they sure as hell better not stop searching for the ever elusive franchise QB. If they see one this year, draft him at #3.
  7. At least with a uniform change, I can pretend i am watching another team....
  8. He now knows how far away this team really is to making the playoffs. This will hopefully force them to overpay for some players in free agency. I also think that he will be pressured HEAVILY into picking a QB at the #3 spot. Right or wrong, season ticket sales will plummet again without a major change. This is the Bills front office and we all know how they operate.Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallett or Blaine Gabbert will be a Bill in 2011 - gaaaroooonnnteeeed (yes, guaranteed)
  9. All I am saying is that my hope is that Gailey sees something in Newton that he just could not pass up. If not, then just go heavy, heavy D all day long
  10. After the last two weeks, it is clear that these idiots are MILES away from the Jets and Patriots who just so happen to be in OUR division. Personally, I hope that Chan Gailey is in love with Cam Newton (even though I am not) and picks him as he thinks he is a game changer. On the other hand, if he is not in love with any of these QBs, I think we are looking at 2-3 years without playoffs. This defense is so pathetic that I think two more successful drafts is the best Buffalo can hope to accomplish their goal. So, if they still take a QB in the first, I realize that he probably won't start for another year but it will at least give me a sense of some distant light at the end of the tunnel. I think the oline will be fine when healthy and the receivers look pretty solid. Defense and more defense in free agency and draft.
  11. Did you really have to show up today Jairus out of all days?
  12. Sounds like he is gone. Let's just hope it's on a losing note so this organization can get a real difference maker on D. I can think of no worse way to end this season than a meaningless win against backups to lose that blue chip defender.Honestly, the only win that would make me happy is if Brohm went out there and was 30 for 30 with 350 yards and 4 tds.
  13. Good man Russ. And to think I actually thought Mr. Wilson would have been the guy to give a gift to the fans after such a shitey season.
  14. uhhhhh, not so much.....Maybe in the 4th if they are getting crushed
  15. Von Miller
  16. Instead of taking one of the monster DE or DT, they will probably go after a beast of a LB which won't be a reach.....
  17. And would one be enough? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/1012/nfl-top-linebackers-in-draft/content.1.html?xid=cnnbin&hpt=Sbin
  18. Did I read that wrong - it does not say that he has given up 12 sacks in 11 games right? I assume the team as a whole has only given up 12 sacks?
  19. Chan clearly knows how to coach these Qbs and although Fitz is the starter next year, Chan will pick the future QB in 2 or 3. At this point, I don't even care which one he picks because Chan obviously knows the type of guy that works. This will be the first time in his career (I believe) where he can hand pick his student. I think this means nothing but good things as they load up the lines in FA and the draft this year.
  20. I just pray that the Patriots have something to play for when they come here. I can't imagine anything worse than beating them with back-ups....
  21. Maybe that is nice to hear but that sure as Hell was not fun to watch. I was counting down the minutes until I could get out of that rain. The Browns offense was more boring than Trent Edward's worst game. Fun to see? Uhhh, not so much....
  22. I had totally soaked through the rain gear by the end of that game. I would rather have 3 feet of snow than that garbage...
  23. Well, I am the last one standing for my tailgate this weekend. Started off for the opener with around 25 people and by last game, it was down to 3. Thinking about just bringing out some BBQ wings and topping them off on the grill....tis a sad day at Pole #1 but the tradition will continue with or without the fair weather ones.....
