Mularkey has a real QB [Mariota].

He was a bad coach. It's been reported that he spent a majority of the time meddling with the O-line, even though he had an O-line coach. The O-line regressed each year under Marrone. His game day management was terrible as he had terrible challenges and always punted inside the opponents 50. He was more worried about what was reported and said about him in the media than he was coaching. Just because the Bills were 9-7 his last year, doesn't mean he's a good coach or that he should be brought back. If that's the case, then the Bills should bring back Mike Mularkey because the Bills went 9-7 under him as well.

I'd rather bring back Wade Phillips as HC to rectify the defense and keep Anthony Lynn as the OC to keep the offense intact.

The only things Marrone gets credit for is hiring two good DC's, Pettine & Schwartz. Kyle Orton, are you kidding? The guy who slid feet first to avoid contact instead of diving for the first down? Orton was a desperation move which provided minimal results. If you want to bring him back to identify a good DC, then I'm all for it. But he was terrible at everything else. How many times did Marrone punt inside the other teams 50?

So the Bills can go back to an ultra conservative Dick Jauron style offense, Marrone spending his whole time with the O-line instead of coaching the team as a whole and him paying attention to everything written in the media/said on the radio about him? No thanks! Jim Schwartz was the reason for the better record, not Marrone.

I didn't get why the Bills didn't pooch kick it after they went ahead by three points? The Dolphins were getting good field position on kickoffs, so it was another boneheaded move to kick it deep which the Dolphins had another good run back.

It's been few and far between that the offense has played very well in both phases (rushing and passing) this season. Today the Bills had 589 yards of offense. With the offense finally on a roll and able to move the chains, I thought it was a boneheaded and gutless move to punt at that time. The whole season is on the line as a loss or tie would have eliminated the Bills. Instead of going for it, Rex sent in Schmidt (who has been terrible) to try and pin the Dolphins deep, but ends up having another crappy punt. Next play, the Bills D only has 10 players on the field on Ajayi runs for a huge gain. For decisions like that, it's more proof that Rex is not a good HC and needs to go.

Schmidt needs to go as well!

Interesting, Sal C. reported on WGR550 this morning that he spoke to at least three of his sources inside the organization and they all stated that no decision has been made on Rex's future.
