    I think the Pegula's have been talking to outside people [Polian, Coughlin] about which direction they should go in. It should be interesting to see what happens in the offseason once the Bills go 8-8 or 9-7.

    It worked in the 80's during the Kay Stephenson/Hank Bullough era and look what happened...the Bills had numerous high draft picks that were elite players which turned the franchise around and went on to four Superbowl appearances.

    Bruce Smith was picked #1 overall by the Bills. The Bills need to tank for more than one year, just like in the 80's. I agree, a QB is a must, but only when a great one is available.

    I'm sure Browns fans said the same things about Belichek back in the 90's. Is better coaching going to help Taylor with his accuracy issues, finding open receivers, and holding onto the ball way too long? Coaching only goes so far. You need good players at key positions, especially at the QB position.
