Did anyone else notice when Hunter scored the TD and jumped in the stands, he blasted a 49ers fan (in the black shirt) right in the chest with the football? I don't know if it was on purpose or accidental, but I thought it was funny as hell.

That's nice

If you look at the production Manning had before he tore his Quad, his numbers went down significantly after the injury. What concerns me with our secondary is that they look great against sub-par/mediocre teams, but get lit up against the elite teams. Honestly, I hope the Jets game was just an anomaly, but when you look at Fitzpatrick's career and how inconsistent he's been, it was very disheartening to see our secondary get burnt all game long. In regards to the contract, the Bills are already close to the cap. There are a lot of other players and positions that the Bills will need cap room for. For next year, the only WR under contract is Watkins, so the Bills will have to pick up some WR's in FA and/or draft players at that position. Watkins contract will be coming up in a couple of years and with Whaley moving up to draft him, you know he's going to want to keep him. I'm not sure how long Zach Brown and Lorax are under contract for, but the Bills have some decisions they need to make with those two. Do the Bills give those two a pay increase/longer contract or do they let them walk?

WR blocking on McCoy's 3rd and 23 run

I think if Gragg stayed healthy, O'Leary might have been cut. I hate to see injuries happen, but I'm glad O'Leary is starting to develop and make progress. -

I do watch the games, but I'm not a fan-boy and love and defend certain players to death. I call it as I see it. The way I see it, Gilmore is overrated (Good, but not great). So you're saying the Bills CB's only cover the outside and deep passes and never anything over the middle? Give me a break! Manning played like crap since the Bills game when he tore his quad. You like to keep ignoring the Jets game and that the Bills secondary got lit up by an erratic QB who looked like a HOF against the Bills. That was an embarrassment!!! Professional sports is "what have you done lately" not what you did years ago.
-
Oh, so it's everyone else's fault except the CB's...right! Brady scored 40 points in their first matchup only against the front seven? You just keep avoiding the fact that the CB's (including Gilmore) were badly burned against Ryan Fitzpatrick. Peyton had a torn quad and played like crap ever since. With Aaron Rodgers, I remember the front seven dominating that game, not the CB's. But please, keep grasping at straws.

Just trying to get out of a conversation. Here's what I've seen from Gilmore over his time with the Bills so far. He's been a good to above average CB, has durability issues, doesn't get very many interceptions, gets dumb penalties at the wrong times and is not consistent with his play. I like Gilmore, but he's not elite and is not worth Top 5 CB money.

It's obvious you can't find anything to back your statement up. The Bills had an easy schedule last year. How did they look against an elite QB like Brady last year? Better yet, how did they look against Ryan Fitzpatrick this year...
-
Can't provide anything I see. You just want to argue a point, but have nothing substantial to back it up with. An elite CB is in the Top 5, which 11th is not elite. Here's another since you are unable to provide anything of value: https://www.profootballfocus.com/snapshot-nfl-passer-rating-allowed-cornerbacks/

Gilmore wants to be paid like a Top 5 CB and is not a Top 5 CB...ain't gonna happen. You opened your mouth and said provide something, so I did. Ball is in your court to provide something.

Here's one for starters (notice who's not on the list): http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/05/nfl-top-10-cornerbacks-rankings-richard-sherman-darrelle-revis

It's apparent you're a fan-boy and a troll. All you could come up with is Gilmore has been great for four years which is completely inaccurate. Come up with some stats on how great Gilmore is compared to the league's elite.
-
When you let Ryan Fitzpatrick look like Tom Brady, you're not an elite corner, fan-boy.
-
Gilmore is too inconsistent and is not worth the asking price (Top 5 CB). You can stop the fan-boy love for him.
-
Love all the excuses for Gilmore. Guess people quickly forgot about the Jets game and how Mr. Inconsistency, Ryan Fitzpatrick shredded the secondary in that game.

Fox PBP man Dick Stockton--worst announcer ever?

The worst ever was Dan Dierdorf, I'm so glad he's retired as he was awful calling Bills games. -

Kaepernick to start on Sunday

Great post! I think also what gets lost is in almost all of these police shootings is in part to non-compliance to police officers orders. If you see the flashing patrol lights, you pull over immediately, wait for the officer to approach your vehicle, roll the window down and wait to calmly address the officer. When the officer gives you instructions such as "license and registration" you comply by giving the officer the information he/she requests. You do have the right to ask why they are pulling you over. If the officer gives you a citation, you have the right to either plead guilty and pay the fine, or plead not guilty and go to court and contest the ticket. Where problems arise is when people do not pull over and try to avoid the police, or instead of staying in the vehicle during the traffic stop, the person gets out of the vehicle without being instructed to do so (that is considered a threat to police). To give you a statistic, the minimum safe distance an officer has to be from a person with a knife is 21 feet. Another issue is running from the police. If people would comply with police, then there would not be police shootings. Are there bad police officers and those that abuse their authority? Absolutely, but the same can be said in any profession. There are those that once they get into position of authority, they go on a power trip and feel they can treat anyone anyway they feel because of their position. What makes law enforcement different is their authority to use deadly force. -
Jim Monos is One to Watch as a Future NFL GM
Jerry Jabber replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whaley and Monos have done a great job finding talent on defense, not so much on offense. -
I don't know how good their current GM is. I know that sometimes doesn't work, especially if you have a Matt Millen type running the show.

Here are two videos that will solve 99% of the problems when it comes to police shootings and police brutality. The first video is serious, the second is from Chris Rock (it has some humor, but it tells the truth). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIQrXUBi3js https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEvMc-K8XHY -
A co-worker of mine is a Browns fan and is miserable. I told her the Browns need to keep this up for two to three years that way they get top draft picks to get their team pointed in the right direction.
