  1. Not bad. But here's my favorite: http://www.nfl.com/g...ights&tab=recap "TeeeeeeeeEEEEEEE-BOW....WHOOAAHH NOOOOO!!!!"
  2. I suspect that opposing teams will try screens, quick passes (either to the sideline, or a few step drops, similar to what Fitz did last year) to try and slown down the Bills front 4 defense. If the Bills are leading the 3rd & 4th quarters of the game, opposing QB's will have to stay in the pocket longer to try and make a pass downfield. With QB's staying in the pocket longer, this is how the Bills will rack up the sacks. Both the Pats & Jets O-line are a mess right now. With playing against the Pats & Jets twice, the Bills D could get a lot of sacks in these four games. alone.
  3. Things are looking good for the Bills in Week 1: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000053149/article/darrelle-revis-does-sanchez-have-enough-support?module=HP11_content_stream "Darrelle Revis said last week that Mark Sanchez needs to take the "next step" and become a top-10 quarterback. But is that even possible considering the weapons around him? "I don't know," Revis told Newsday while shaking his head. "I don't know." "You've got to do what's best for the team, and I don't know if we've been wise in that department," Revis said Wednesday. We can't disagree. The Jets were on our list of the four teams that have had the roughest training camp, and they are the only team on the list that hasn't suffered massive injuries. The wide receiver group is thin. The right tackle spot remains a trouble spot, and the running back group is sub-mediocre. "I don't really know how this is going to pan out. I just hope that they do what they need to do on offense," Revis said, sounding a lot like a radio talk show caller. "And not to divide this -- I'm supporting those guys. I think the only thing you can do is be supportive. Right now it's still preseason."
  4. I know Bruce never held the NFL single season sack record. I couldn't put "...Buffalo Bills single season sack record", it was too lengthy to show up on the thread.
  5. In 2007, Mario Williams posted his best career stats with the Houston Texans when he had 59 Tackles (43 solo, 16 assisted) 14 sacks, 1 Pass Defended (PD), 1 Forced Fumble (FF). Considering Williams was the only true pass rusher on that Texan team, with no good Defensive Tackles (DT’s) on the defensive line beside him, those stats are very impressive. Mario Williams this season will be playing along with Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, and Mark Anderson/Chris Kelsay, plus the fact that he will be playing against weaker Offensive Tackles in the league with playing the LDE position, it is very possible that Williams could break his career best of 14 sacks. But, can Mario tie or break the Bills single season sack record of 19 (which is held by Hall of Fame DE Bruce Smith) sometime during the course of his career in Buffalo?
  6. Last year the Bills looked bad against the Broncos in preseason, then went on to whip them in the regular season.
  7. Thigpen is awful!!
  8. He looked more consistent tonight. The bomb he had to Graham was very nice.
  9. The Minnesota feed is bad. These guys really suck!!
  10. I agree. Guys like Sheppard and A. Williams really need all the work they can get, because they did not look good tonight.
  11. Great drive by VY & the 2nd stringers!
  12. I was glad to see the Bills starting D get a couple of sacks, and good pressure on the QB, but they still have some work to do.
  13. Sweet pass!!! Best play so far of the preseason! Great job VY & Graham!
  14. I agree, Williams should have been able to swat that ball away on the deep pass.
  15. The Bills offense still has a ways to go to get ready for the season opener.
  16. Nice play by Jones, and a great block by Chandler!!
  17. According to Coy Wire, it did exist.
  18. Reading comprehension is a good thing, it's obvious you don't have any, because after I stated about Brady having sub-par talent around him, you went on to talk about the Pats defense and how many sacks they had in 2006. As I stated previously, I am not a pats fan, but I respect the talent Brady has. IMO, the greatest QB of all time is Joe Montana. Otherwise, keep rambling on incoherently, just like another troll on here [paint my house].
  19. Jimmy Johnson admitted it happened in the NFL from other teams. But hey, innocent until proven guilty...right?! Since the Saints got caught with the bounty scandal, guess they were the only team to ever have a bounty program too? (cough...cough...Redskins...Bills)
  20. Here's what I wrote: "In 2006, the Pats went to the AFC Championship game, and lost a very close game to the Colts. The Pats 2 top WR's were Troy Brown, and Reche Caldwell (not exactly top of the line WR's). So Brady has shown he can get the job done, even with sub-par talent around him." Where did I say the Patriots overall had sub-par talent? I said Brown & Caldwell were sub-par, which was in rebuttal to your argument about Manning & Favre. Anything else you want to twist around?
  21. Stats don't lie. Yes, they were caught cheating, but you mean to tell me they were the only team in the NFL to be doing that? Eric Mangini knew about it from his time in NE, so he decided to blow the Pats in for it. As far as getting favorable calls from the refs, it just doesn't happen to Brady, it happens to the players and teams that the NFL wants to win (see the Steelers/Seahawks Superbowl). I'll give Manning a ton of credit as well, he is an offensive coordinator when he is on the field. But, he's had some great talent on his teams, and only won 1 superbowl (Harrison, Wayne, Clark, E. James, just to name a few). In Manning's first few years in the league, he couldn't win a playoff game. The key to beating any QB is constant pressure. It doesn't matter if it's Brady, the Manning bros, Brees, Rodgers or any top QB. I would love to see Tommy Boy take a pounding from our D-line this year, and the Bills sweep the division by going 6-0 (now is that going to happen...probably not, but it would be great to see).
  22. Your opinion is dead wrong. First off, I'm not a Brady fan, but I respect what he does. Brady went to 5 Superbowls and won 3 of them. Right now, that's better than Favre, Manning and any other modern day QB. In 2006, the Pats went to the AFC Championship game, and lost a very close game to the Colts. The Pats 2 top WR's were Troy Brown, and Reche Caldwell (not exactly top of the line WR's). So Brady has shown he can get the job done, even with sub-par talent around him. When the Pats went 11-5 when Brady went out, the Pats were 16-0 the year prior, something no team has done in the modern era. I'm not trying to discount anyone here, but they still had a great team from the year before. Last season, Brady broke Marino's single season passing record, with 5,235 yards, something Manning and Favre have not done. Brady beat Manning's single season TD record with 50 TD's. Also, Favre was an interception machine, something that Brady is not. Manning did not fare well against the Chargers or Pats for most of the last decade. Favre's interceptions cost the Packers multiple trips to the Superbowl, and the Vikings a trip as well.
