  1.
  2. I agree. I know many people were worried about Schwartz taking over, especially since he is known for not being as aggressive with blitzing as Pettine was, but the Bills had almost the same amount of sacks as last season, and improved in many areas on defense.
  3. Schopp was comparing the Bills win today as a preseason game, meaning it was meaningless, then went on to say he wished the Bills would have been annihilated today.
  4. After hearing Schopp say he wishes the Bills would have been annihilated today, I can't take that guy seriously anymore. How can any hometown sports announcer wish that their team gets beaten badly? The guy is an embarrassment to radio and to Bills fans.
  5. I agree. Another positive, thank you. Here's another I forgot First win in Gillette Stadium ever
  6. Since there's a lot of negativity either on here or listening to some of the cry baby announcers on WGR550 (such as Mike Schopp), I think it would be nice to point out some of the positives from this Bills season (in no particular order): The Bills finished with a winning record for the first time in 10 years Did not have a losing record at any point in the season Went 4-0 against the NFC North Finished 2nd in the AFC East (compared to their usual finish of 4th) Had a 4-2 record within the division Defense ranks 3rd in the league (up seven spots from last season) Led the league in sacks with 54 In the past two seasons, the Bills have 111 sacks (league lead) Defeated three current playoff teams
  7. Look Mike Schopp, it's bad enough you're on the air and people have to listen to you b*tch and moan about the Bills, but enough is enough already! The Bills won today, regardless if it was against backups or not, so enjoy it!
  8. I'm expecting everyone to be positive all the time, just not expecting a commentator to be as negative as Schopp was especially since the Bills won the game today.
  9. I listened to Schopp today and wished I had that time back. IMO, he's a negative Nancy. He was acting as if the Bills lost today.
  10. This has been a season of "what-ifs." It's a shame though, especially with the defense we have.
  11. Even though it was against some backups, it's still feels great to beat the Patriots, especially in Foxboro.
  12. Sweet stiff arm by Sammy. Sent that guy flying
  13. Damn!! That's twice!
  14. Not sure why they're not throwing more to Sammy today
  15. Terrible play call on 3rd & 1
  16. I'm sure folks were saying the same things about Special Teams last season when Danny Crossman wasn't fired.
  17. I think it's a great idea. Polian had successful runs with the Bills, Panthers, and Colts so he knows what it takes to build a winner.
  18. Expect Marrone to be gone at the end of the season. Pegula will want his own people running things. The only way Marrone was staying was if the Bills made a deep playoff push. He's hoping if the Bills win on Sunday, that he'll still have a job, that's why he's playing Orton instead of Manuel.
  19. I don’t get people’s obsession with Terry Pegula not speaking to media frequently. Is he mandated to talk to the media like NFL players are? No. Is Pegula supposed to speak to the media every week, every month? Did Ralph Wilson talk to the media frequently? No. One thing is for sure, Terry & Kim Pegula are not Dan Snyder, meaning they do not make snap decisions by firing people in a short amount of time. They’re both smart business professionals and will make changes when they see that what’s in front of them is not working. They like to give people a fair chance to make things work. IMO, a lot of Sabres fans are a bunch of cry-babies as they feel Terry Pegula owes them something… “Uncle Terry didn’t fire Ruff and Regier as soon as he bought the team;” “Uncle Terry doesn’t talk to the media;” “Uncle Terry promised me the Stanley Cup in three years.”
  20. I'm surprised that the goal posts weren't torn down last week at the Ralph as it's been 10 years since the Bills reached 8 wins in a season.
