  1. I thought our QB's name was Glass Joe?
  2. I think the Bills need a little bit of both (win now and build for the future). The Bills have a championship caliber defense that is ready to win now and they should not waste it, so building an immediate winner does make a lot of sense.
  3. I wouldn't doubt if the Bills cut some players currently on the roster to make room for someone they want in FA. I remember when Rex went to the Jets, they made a big splash in FA that year which put the Jets in a "win now" mode. I think Rex is doing the same thing here in Buffalo by trading for McCoy. I still think Rex will add a TE or two, another offensive lineman, a LB [Harris] and possibly another QB.
  4. Thanks Captain! Noe Schitt Sherlock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8V7qbpddNOM
  5. I know this is a little vague, but I just finished watching NFL Total Access and in the last segment, Willie McGinest stated the Bills are nowhere near done in free agency. The other announcers tried pressing him for more info as the show ended, but he wouldn't say anything further except shake his and said again "The Bills not done in Free Agency". I'm curious to know what his sources are telling him and who his sources are?
  6. Matt Cassel is now Greg Roman's new version of Alex Smith. If Roman can get the same production out of Cassel that he did with Smith, then it's a smart move by the Bills.
  7. That was funny. I see the guy's point that the Eagles didn't trade McCoy for a high 1st round draft pick to a team that has a bad record, given McCoy's production. I'm sure the Eagles fan feels the Eagles did not get fair value in the trade as Alonzo did not play at all last season due to a significant knee injury. Chip Kelly is dismantling the Eagles and is getting rid of players that question him, much like McDaniels did in Denver.
  8. Chip Kelly is doing a Josh McDaniels as he's getting rid of all the good talent in Philly that is not getting along with him.
  9. And that's about as long as our defense the way it's currently built will last, so I see this move as a big step forward.
  10. For those that are mad about this trade, look at it this way, the Bills are getting a Top 3 RB who has has at least 1300 yards rushing in three out of the last four years. In Andy Reid's last year with the Eagles, McCoy had 17 rushing TDs, so with having a run heavy offense, I can see McCoy putting up career numbers with the way Greg Roman uses a lot of O-linemen and TE's with rushing the ball.
  11. “Drug issues are a different beast. Fans need to realize they can't compare substances to conduct as apples to apples in process or result” So, would AP or Ray Rice be a better comparison? I mentioned Bradham because he was suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the NFL. It didn’t matter that the charges were dropped against Bradham, he still received a suspension from the NFL for getting arrested. Even if the charges of Dareus’ case get reduced to reckless driving, I still feel he will get a suspension from the NFL.
  12. I highly doubt Dareus walks away without a suspension from the NFL (I would love to be wrong though).
  13. Assuming Marcell Dareus’ drag racing court case has been resolved by the start of the season, how many games do you think Roger Goodell will suspend him for? Considering Goodell suspended Nigel Bradham for one game (the season opener) last season, even though the case was thrown out, I feel Dareus could be looking at a 2-4 game suspension. I’m also curious to see what Rex Ryan’s contingency plans are when Dareus will be on suspension.
  14. I'm thankful to the Ralph for putting a football team in Buffalo, otherwise I might not gotten into football at all. I'm also thankful for everything he did to keep the Bills in Buffalo over the years, especially with the ultra-restrictive clauses on the sale of the team after his death. It's a shame that the Bills didn't win one Superbowl for him. RIP Ralph, we all miss you!
  15. I agree. Granted Marshawn was a problem child, but he is a great RB and shouldn't have been traded. Hopefully the days of drafting RB's and guys in the secondary in the first round, then not resigning them after their rookie contract are done and over with!
  16. My best guess was that the Bills changed coaching staffs at the end of that season [2009] from Jauron/Perry Fewell (Interim HC) to Chan Gailey, and Gailey did not want Incognito. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Buffalo_Bills_head_coaches
  17. Glad to see the Bills sign Incognito for many reasons. He's an upgrade at Guard, plays with a mean streak, and he'll come with a cheap contract that way the Bills can go after Revis, Iupati or other high-priced FA's. It's nice to see the Bills FO give a chance to "problem children." After 15 years of missing the playoffs, I couldn't care less if our players are douchebags or choir boys, I just want a winning team that has a better win/loss record against the Patriots and want to see playoff games at the Ralph.
  18. Like Deion Sanders said after the game, dumbest call in Superbowl history. Slant pass on the 1 yard line?! I'm ready for the Bills to dominate the division once again and this time around win the Superbowl. The Bills have assembled a very solid coaching staff. Hiring Roman as the OC and Kromer as the O-line coach will pay huge dividends for the Bills. I'm ready for the next football season to start.
  19. While I'm not a fan of her music, Katy Perry is pretty hot.
  20. Well, this is deflating: http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/deflategate-adam-schefter-reports-nfl-struggling-to-find-evidence/ar-AA8tHi2?ocid=iehp
  21. Kyle Williams and Marcel Dareus = APA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7ETKH-KZa0
  22. [quote name="HoF Watkins" post="3435753" OH, but they do. Who is "they?"
