The Bills have been pretty good at this kind of talent evaluation for a while. If we can just continue to hit on the higher round picks as well, the future is bright!

This will be my 22nd consecutive home opener tomorrow. These games are always special. There's extra energy in the air, the Ralph will be electric. I expect our guys to be jacked, of course. But there's a new element in the team that I saw last week, and it really gives me hope for the year. I saw a disciplined team that played methodically and business-like. No costly mental mistakes from the players or the coaches. How vastly different from the Jauron years. Make no mistake, this is the first year the team is fully Chan's and Buddy's...and I think it shows. I'm in agreement with Chan about tomorrow. I don't hope to win, I expect to win. GO BILLS!

Great points. This is a game we could easily have lost last year, so I have to believe Chan will have the team prepared. A good early test to show just how far we've come on run D.

Solid tackling on display all day, I thought. Good, fundamental football. I credit Chan a lot for that. Few apparent mental mistakes today, few penalties, no drive killing penalties. We didn't shoot ourselves in the foot. Very efficient and business-like approach. Hope those smug Jets go down hard tonight.

Another thing to consider is how much better he might have been early in the year had he been the #1 QB throughout all of training camp and the preseason.

Good crowd noise for so few yesterday. I'll be out west for the Pats* game, so this was a happy ending to the season for me.

Fitz should remind him how he bounced back after a terrible first half throwing the ball last week against the Bengals. Yeah, SJ, don't forget this game, but don't let it rattle around in your head either. Use it to motivate yourself, that's what a pro does, that's how you help your team the most.

This isn't just about the last two games. It's the final flush of a career that's been circling the drain for awhile now. And it's better done now than later. I think Chan knows that at least Fitz is a fighter, and Trent will never be one.

It's easy to hate Miami and Dallas...not so much Cleveland and Green Bay. That being said, I hope you look past us to the Bears on Monday night and stumble just enough to give us an improbable win in a hard-fought game. Good luck to you, but better luck to us!
