  1. Yes, obviously. I don't think the Bills take anyone lightly, especially not this year.
  2. "The Hawk" has defeated QB's with far stronger arms than Brock Purdy before.
  3. 2 players with concussions left the game. 2 players with concussions left the game. 2 players with concussions left the game. It was a must win for the Jets when they played us and the Fins when they played us too...apparently the Bills don't seem to care.
  4. OK, let him play. The Bills should not fear Purdy. He has been whatever most of the year even without a hurt shoulder. Seattle held them to 13 points.
  5. Anything is possible as of right now, it's simply too early to know how everything will shake out. A lot depends on where the storm system goes that's going to pass thru. Currently they expect it to miss to the south but that likely will provide enough lift to kick off the lake snows even if we don't get much in the way of snow from it directly. But anything after that is unknown at this point and likely won't become clearer until Wednesdy-Thursday and possibly even into Friday. A lot depends on the wind direction and that usually oscillates within the storm so it will be hard to pinpoint anything with clarity until the later model runs and even then things can change rapidly during the storm.
  6. If Purdy isn't playing the spread should be like -13. The other Allen is awful.
  7. Too early to even worry about that yet but with the Lake still at 52 degrees it would support a LOT of heavy snow similar to the 7+ foot events that happened twice in the past 8 years.... Lake is near historical high temps for this time of year not seen since 1931 and as warm as it was during those 7+ foot events that happened 2 weeks earlier in the month.
  8. We have Josh Allen.
  9. Too early to know anything but early models are supporting potential for significant lake snows east and southeast of the lakes... Essentially think from Lancaster/Depew area thru the Southtowns and possibly Southern Tier. Will bear monitoring later in the week. And we match up well against theirs.
  10. Who cares. The Bills are simply a better team and McD's record off the bye is spotless. Bills will win by more than 1 score.
  11. Can't blame him, it's likely his last good contract. Hopefully they can reach some sort of middle ground where it makes sense for both parties.
  12. Talk about desperate
  13. There is no way CBS is giving up this game...they would protect it. So while it technically "could" happen it simply won't. The chance is effectively 0%.
  14. Guess he didn't do a great job of playing scout team safety. Bum.
  15. So basically the Bills draft a lot of players who regularly contribute to the success of this team. I would suspect the 2024 class would put the Bills back to #1 as I cannot imagine San Fran having players who are having a bigger impact than our draft class.
  16. Likely has to do with those teams having to play each other and giving each other L's.
  17. By a huge margin, the Bills face the most man coverage of any team in the NFL. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Guess teams have decided to go down with the ship if they are going down against Allen...
  18. Yes, his Dad is Black and was a former MLB relief pitcher...although not a very good one, but had a pretty decent career for being a replcement level player. 42-39 W-L record with a career 5.47 ERA. Essentially he was the Fitzpatrick of Pitchers pitching for 6 different teams.
  19. Nobody is laughing.
  20. The question was "Who is the next active player to win their first MVP?". Mahomes obviously wouldn't qualify since he already won one.
  21. Yeah so was forcing people of color to go in the back door of restaurants if they were allowed in there at all and making them sit in the back of the bus. Having segregated schools, bathrooms and water fountains along with Jim Crow laws and many thinking they were "better than someone" based on the color of their skin. Sorry, as much as you may want to go back to those days, we are never going back. I'm sure many still believe in those things, they just have to live in a world where their hate, racism and bigotry no longer wins out and a world where they are now the minority.
  22. Lowering the depth of the gutter shouldn't be viewed as cool because "it's not too far away" from the previous low.
  23. 1) Tone Deaf. It doesn't matter. 2) That's great. Many White people were enslaved too and there were Black slave owners as well, what's your point? 3) Are you trying to argue that type of stuff never happened? Regardless of how "fictional" the movie was in how it portrayed the overall topic it was covering, there are plenty of accounts historically to verify that what happened in the movie related to lynching is plenty factual.
  24. I agree, it probably isn't. Probably some dumb kids that thought it was funny without thinking about it. But the point is, we don't KNOW that....and regardless, as a nation who still has a lot of work to do with race relations and in some ways has just covered up the issues better and pretend they don't exist now, it's just not a good look.
