Every Coordinator is amazing at their job or else they would never get promoted. The ones who succeed in a head coaching role are the ones who understand that you aren't the "doer", you are the one who delegates properly to get things done and then oversees and supports each group that is doing the work, much like a CEO would do and are responsible for decisions related to the direction of the team and many other non-football related items. Most new head coaches are shocked at how much of their job is dealing with non-football related things.
