  1. I hate Ohio State so so so very much.
  2. No. F That. You only get so many great looks at a Super Bowl and to simply say "I'm good with not getting there" because you think you overachieved is absurd. Overall the AFC had a down year outside 3 teams and we went thru the one that beat us down earlier in the year and now all that's standing in our way is our arch-nemesis. We need to finish them.
  3. Playoff football is all situational football...the teams that excel at that the most and keep the turnovers clean usually win.
  4. Awesome. Most people didn't "see" us beating the Ravens... Deep down the Chiefs fans, players and coaches fear the Bills more than any other team in the NFL because unlike the other teams we actually beat you consistently and have been a razor's edge away from doing it in the playoffs more than once. At some point that regular season dominance is going to carry over into the playoffs and I think it is going to start this year. At this point, you are essentially a divisional opponent as it's the 9th time we are meeting since 2020. And 17 usually takes care of divisional opponents when it matters.
  5. The most amazing thing is that on 3rd and 4th and under 5 every fan in the stadium knows Allen is keeping the ball to make something happen, everyone on TV knows it, the announcers know it, the refs know it, the defensive coaches and players know it, and they STILL CAN'T STOP IT! That's when you know you got something special.
  6. A lot of unintelligent mouth breathers call in to those shows and trying to understand their logic is mind numbing and makes my brain hurt after a while most days.
  7. We also live in a world where a lot of below average IQ people display a complete lack of ability to use logic prominently in these threads 😂
  8. And the accepted one was a phantom penalty that never happened.
  9. We have waited years for a defense that stepped up in playoff games instead of fading away and we have finally gotten it... In both games, the D provided masterclasses on how to win playoff games.
  10. Don't you know football was created to make you hungry so you'd order food? Turnovers...beef in the box...pancake blocks...scrambles... Feed me more... Refrigerator Perry was not his real name... No you say? What's that you're eating Jerry? "Rice". Hah! Jerry's eating Rice 😂
  11. Essentially the Chiefs win by keeping the game close and waiting for the other team to make a mistake and then capitalizing on it to win. It only works because the other team can't pull away.
  12. First off, it's not the Tush Push, it's the Shnowplow
  13. That was a strange play to get a concussion on...it didn't even look like he got hit on the head area really.
  14. And his QB always plays his worst game when it matters most.
  15. He didn't say that, he said Rapp is day to day.
  16. His QB is a playoff choker, hard to win when your best player plays his worst game of the year every year when it matters the most.
  17. But they did lose the game, essentially because the Bills trapped them into it. Most games in the NFL aren't won, they are lost
  18. I don't think they are...essentially they are the same team that just got every bounce imaginable and had teams inexplicably implode at the end of games.
  19. The hold happened on 2nd down and it went from 3rd and 3 to 2nd and 22 which then turned into 2nf and 17 due to a neutral zone infraction on Baltimore.
  20. When the NFL rolls out its red-carpet event and hands Jackson his third MVP award, highlights from his 4,172-yard, 41-TD season will play. He is the most exhilarating player to watch in today’s game. Yet, the event will ring hollow again because it’s also true that in the most important game of the season, the opposition dared Jackson to beat them. The opposition actively chose for Lamar Jackson to decide the outcome. Which is not normal. Usually, a defense would want to schematically entice anybody but the MVP of the league to make plays on the field. Inside the winners’ locker room — their ticket to the AFC Championship Game punched — Bills players were frank: They wanted to put the ball in Lamar’s hands. Head coach Sean McDermott instructed the defense to sell out on Derrick Henry and the Ravens rushing attack to win first down and make Baltimore one-dimensional. “When he starts throwing it, obviously he’s capable of doing it,” defensive end A.J. Epenesa said. “He can extend plays, do all that good stuff. But that’s the mode we really wanted to get him in. Make him win the game by himself. Throw it to his targets. And I think our guys on the back end, they make it hard, too.” https://www.golongtd.com/p/on-to-arrowhead-buffalo-bills-prove
  21. And it wasn't even a penalty on the Dawkins hold who essentially got penalized for his technique being too good. Should have been a goose egg. As Belichick always told his teams on their first day of meetings: "Before we can figure out how to win games, we have to first figure out how not to lose them. Most games are lost, not won."
  22. Not many teams have the talent to completely shut down Baltimore's offense.
  23. Lindenbaum was getting absolutely dominated almost all game long. You know it's bad when you get pushed back into your QB and trip him on a handoff.
