  1. Over his time here I believe he was 2nd in the NFL in YPC over that timeframe
  2. This is part of what I've been saying! They are not taking the free yards that are being given to them anywhere near enough... The one thing Dorsey did exceptionally well is have Allen take the free yards that were there...if a run was called and someone was 10 yards off the WR, Allen wouldn't even have to audible at times he would just stand up and throw a pass immediately and they would pick up an easy 5+ yards and sometimes get a first down. That has gone missing and it's maddening to see guys with nobody near them at the LOS run into the coverage instead of them taking easy yards.
  3. Yes, similar to that...IR is only for players on the active roster. There essentially is a practice squad version of that called Practice Squad/Injured where they can be put and they don't count against the PS roster until they are activated from it. Follows the same rules as IR where they have a 3 week ramp up period where they are allowed to practice prior to being activated but unlike the IR, they don't count towards your limit of 8 IR activations per season as someone else pointed out upthread.
  4. Worked out pretty well for us...I can't believe Cleveland is as awful as they are year after year drafting in the top 5
  5. He was in for visits with them. Doubt he was "trying out" considering he was recovering from knee surgery. The Bills signed him knowing he wouldn't be ready for several weeks to the practice squad and stashed him on the injured list. Not sure what you are trying to get at, but it doesn't really make much sense.
  6. Davis is 26 years old. Put down the pipe.
  7. That is 100% a false statement
  8. No idea either...and anyone trying to bring up the "injury" issue is a non-starter since not a single injury happened during the play by any team running it in 2024. It's like they tried to get too cute for their own good and cost themselves in critical situations in 2 losses that didn't have to be losses without making brain-dead decisions in key situations.
  9. Yikes...this sounds far worse than originally reported...
  10. Had no idea...but from what I remember, this would have been the next evolution from what Spongebob did at times on that show?
  11. Don't forget about his father, Dave Gravis.
  12. I want to say it's supposed to be a sort of SpongeBob-like thing?
  13. LMAO!!! The Return of "Grape Davis"! Bills official social media account must be run by someone on crack! 😂😂😂
  14. The problem is the Bills asked him to be a WR2 and he was never capable of that. But as a WR4, he might be one of the best in the NFL.
  15. It's like what GM's will often tell fans when they get interviewed and asked about stuff like this..."don't believe much of what you read or hear, some of it is true but most of it isn't".
  16. That's actually a misnomer...Rice himself stated he had no idea how to "get off the blocks" to run a 40, which caused his time to be very slow. So yes, while he might have been clocked as that speed, that was not actually his speed in real life if he was running. Most feel he was closer to mid 4.4's in real life or 4.5 at the worst. I mean, how many people have you ever seen catch Jerry Rice from behind? I don't remember many, if any.
  17. That is relatively inconsequential. Cooper Kupp runs a 4.62 40. Davante Adams runs a 4.57, Cris Carter ran a 4.63, Anquan Bolden ran a 4.71, Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.63... Those numbers don't actually mean anything really at the end of the day...there are other factors involved as to why he isn't able to shake loose that many other players running his speed or slower, figured out how to overcome. Coleman needs to do a better job of keeping DBs off balance regarding the route he is running that clearly he is not, whether that is because he is telegraphing it somehow or because he isn't setting them up to be on their wrong foot, or whatever
  18. OK, it's officially called "Practice Squad/Injured", which is like IR but for the Practice Squad where he can remain on there but not count against players on the Practice Squad.
  19. Is it not strange that essentially Davis and Coleman are for all intents and purposes similar players in terms of speed/body type but Davis consistently can separate on deep balls while Coleman has dudes stuck to him like super glue? Actually yes, IR As a WR4, he could make a major impact, IMO
  20. Pats seem to be doing just fine with it
  21. Operation Chief Killer is underway...
  22. Uh oh...Operation Chief Killer has begun...Gabe Davis activated from Practice Squad IR...are we going to get another patented Jim Nantz call this week???? "It's GABE!!!! DAAAAAAA-VVVIIIIISSSSS! There he goes again...TD Bills!"
