  1. People who kept their season tickets have rights to want to see the team they love. I have zero expectation this year. I hate Dick Jauron. But I am still going to watch them. I truely belief that having going through all these bad years, when they finally win the big one (big if), it will be so much sweeter! I live in Boston. I saw first hand with the Red Sox. They sucked for like 80 years. When the Sox finally won the WS, their fans were in tear of joy. My co-workers celebrated for weeks. They truely earned the right to celebrate and I was happy for them. I am not predicting anything with this team. They are probably not go to win too many games. I get angry with the team too when they were bad. However, whether or not to watch my team play is not decided by how they play. But that's just me.
  2. I would contribute to the "John Hopkins Mop and Bucket Fund" so that he will have a career after he get fired by this small town paper. He does not speak for the people in Buffalo. His opinion is childish and uniformed. Article like that should be removed from the front page of TBD. Does TBD read who they put up on the wall? Who is responsible for this?
  3. Then tell me why we are keeping Jauron. Then, why did we sign TO for one year? Why bother if the plan is to go 4-12? Send message to the team? Three people who have legal problems are still with the team right now. Why don't you tell me what kind of messages they are sending to us fans? Character only matters when Levy was here?
  4. Pretty crappy numbers from this year's group. Only one person made it pass 30.
  5. You know if was the other team, I just bring the heat and put Edwards on his back on every play. You can have any recievers you want if you cannot protect the QB, it won't matter. Less see who play LT before you get too excited.
  6. I think it was an unfortunate incident. I heard from a friend that Donte's cousin was in the riot scene at the time and he was trying to get to him. The police ordered him to stop but he didn't, so they put him down. Now I don't know if it was racially motivated or his money, I would give the police the benefit of the doubt. But police over using their power or wrong judgement is normal. I remember not too long ago a cop prevent a person from see his mother when she was dying. I think the cop was fired after the police department got all the facts. So you should never pass judgement unless you get all the facts. As far as being in the wrong place the wrong time, it was supposed to be a birthday party for Ted Ginn Jr. I would not consider going to a birthday party a "wrong place". It was just unfortunate that a riot broke out. Anyone from Cleveland know anything else about this incident besides Donte got arrested? A riot broke out you would think he could hear about it. Anyone else got arrested? How did it get started? Or do we not care?
  7. Freddie is a fine player. He has started games before and had good success on the field so it is non sense to say that he can only carry the ball 20 times. In addition, Dick Jauron doesn't want to wear out his running backs. So maybe 20 carries is all that he would need anyway. You all will find out if Jackson is for real because he will start the first few games this year. We can all see with our own eyes and be convinced one way or another.
  8. I like to see some help at conrners and safety in the later rounds if some good ones are available. Our players seem to get injured vey easily. We will be running out of players again this November. DE, SLB, OT, OG, TE, and DT are priority. We need as many picks as possible.
  9. I think he is only looking for a long term deal. I don't know why the Bills hasn't done anything for him already. Maybe they are too busy dealing with Jason Peters at this time. We need a real GM.
  10. I think you are the one that not getting it. Other teams pay to keep their best players. The Bills choose to cut or trade them away. That's why this team hasn't made the playoff for over 10 years. Fans of other teams would not think this is acceptable.
  11. Why should the Bills trade Peters? Here is the math, they are giving Peters $6M more a year to play football. If he does not sign the contract, he will lose $12M. He will turn 29 when his contract is up, that is if the Bills does not tag him for another year. If he play until he is 33, to make up for the $12M, he will have to be paid $3M extra per year (over his market value). He will never recover that money. So I think he is not in a good position to play hard ball, unless his calculator is out of batteries. But he maybe to stupid to realize it. The best thing for the Bills to do is to draft an OT that can play guard in second round. You can never have too many OL in this league. Then let see what Peters wants to do. Trading him would be like backing down. Other players on this team and their agents are all watching this. What if Peters hold out? He already did that once. We didn't go 0-16. In fact, they were winning games without him. They even won games with him playing poorly. He is just one piece of the puzzle. You cannot let him think that he is the whole team. Why should the Bills trade him unless it is good business for the Bills? Why are some of you guys so afraid of him holding out again? That's exactly what Parker and Peters want. There are another 52 players on this team. They will go to work and try to win.
  12. Ha ha ha, it is not the first time the Bills did something stupid via a trade. Then again, if they trade Peters, that mean they are rebiulding because there is no way to win with a rookie left tackle in this league. That make me wonder why they signed TO in the first place. However, if the Bills makes a trade like this with the Eagles, it won't be a big surprise to me. That's because we have seen it all before. Just like when they drafted McGahee (when Henry got 1300 yards the year before) in the first round and traded him to the Ravens for two third round picks. Or traded for Bledsoe and gave Pats our first round pick, then cut him when he was still under contract. Then the Cowboys got him for nothing. How about traded up to get McCargo in the first round and then couldn't even trade him away because he couldn't pass physical. There should be enough evident to give a hint that the Bills may really do it. The trade sucks but it is not hard to believe that the Bills may do it because they are the Bills. That's what they do.
  13. Basically, Peters has an asking price, that mean he is willing to deal. The Bills not signing him is totally because of cheapness. If Peters is so good that you won't trade him to Philly less than 2 first round picks, then why not sign him? If Peters is so bad, then why you ask for so much in a trade? Peters is good or has potential to be very very good, but people just hate him because he sat out OTA last year, and refuses to fall in line when asked upon by the Bills. None of that make any sense. He played three years of his five year contract. Good players got their contracts renewed before they expire. If they cut Kelsay and give the money to Peters to keep him, I think a lot of people would cheer for that. So it is not how much money you have but how you spend that money. I think it is Russ Brandon's fault if Peters is going to be playing for another team next year.
  14. Peppers has not sign the franchise tag offer. That means he cannot be traded by Carolina. If his agent signed him to the Bills, we will have to give up two first round picks. It will not happen or Peppers would have already been signed by the Pats last week.
  15. Wow, the offensive should start practicing how to push the defensive linemen to the ground. As long as we keep them on the ground, they can't touch the QB, unless they have 5 foot long wing span! What a great new rule! This will definitely help the Bills.
  16. Is Peters in camp? Or you just considered him not part of the team already?
  17. The outcome is quite predictable. So what is there to talk about.
  18. I think we all agree that Baily is terrible and his articles have no value. So just stop clicking on his links. For one thing, TwoBillsDrive does post the source. If Bills fans stop clicking on his links, I don't think he will last very long. In my opinion, he got most of his traffic from TBD anyway.
  19. My point really is to predict what the Bills will do, not what they should do. I think the Bills will leave the offer on the table until the start of the training camp. If by the draft time comes, Peters still has not sign the new deal, the first round pick will be a left tackle, even if the available LT is not a top notch one. They will simply convince the fans that they got a steal. Brandon played hard ball last year with Peters and Parker, I believe he would do it again without blinking. Brandon wants to win (shown by signing TO) but he will not allow himself to be shown off by Parker. He seems to have this cowboy mentality. In regard to no crediable replacement for Peters, that is a matter of opinion. The Bills may (and probably will) think that Kris Chamber and a rookie LT will be good enough to replace Peters; assuming Chambers will start the season and the rookie will take over after several games. Peters will not have the leverage some may think because the Bills does not think he deserve the $11 mil that he is asking for. The two sides will have to negoiate for a realistic number. If Peters decides to hold out again, I have a feeling that Brandon may go out of his way to teach him a lesson. It could also be a PR move to show the fans that he means business. In regard to signing a LT from FA, who can they get that can start right the way? I suspect that there are not that many of them out there.
  20. When I see any article from Realfootball365 from Two Bills Drive, I don't even bother click on it. I think you guys should do the same. It is a waste of time to read anything from that Bailey guy.
  21. I would not trade him. He is still 2 years under contract. I let him sit out like last year. Then after two years, I tag him for another year. He is 27 now and will be 30 by the time I am done with him. I would negoiate his contract base on that scenario. I don't mind giving him a chance to be the highest paid player in the league if he plays like one. The new deal should have incentives like team rushing yards and sacks, etc., that would be enough to make his 2009 salary to be $11.5M. But if he dares to pull the same crap again, I wouldn't play nice. BUT, just in case I really want to trade him, I would not take anything less than a top five picks in the draft, meaning the Eagles is out of the running. I believe in building from the line. If I have to give away my starting left tackle for a rookie linebacker, it has better be a young version of Ray Lewis. Otherwise, I don't think it is acceptable.
  22. Eagles won't trade their two first round picks. Bills will not trade Jason Peters. Bills just signed TO and is not interested in rebuilding the team, at least not this year. Jason Peters will not hold out because he already tried last year and it blew up in his face. Clayton is smoking something good and I want some of that. This discussion is a waste of time.
  23. I think they tried to trade back the last couple years but couldn't find a trade partner. As far as I know they weren't able to trade up in a few drafts either. So I predict they will stay put at #11. I just hope that they will draft either OL or DL in the first round. And no fatty or undersize players please. My first choice is a pass rusher that can scare other teams. If that guy is not there go with an offensive tackle. He can take over the right side, but must be good enough to player the left side in case Jason Peters doesn't show up again. Second round I prefer a big TE. Hopefully one of those "down field threat" is there. Then in the third round, go back to OL/DL depends on who is drafted in the first round.
  24. I vote for removing realfootball360 until they remove this Bialy guy. I don't even think he ever watch the Bills until he was forced to write about them. I hate his articles. All of them!
