If he's willing to give a hometown discount and take backup TE money to chase a ring with his childhood team, I'd let him be a backup TE. When he's healthy it would make for a hell of a two TE set.

Made is safely home to northeastern Massachusetts about half an hour ago. Thanks to everyone who came out. It was great to see everyone again after such a long hiatus. I had a blast, as usual, despite the on-field product we were subjected to. I look forward to seeing you all again next time I make the trek out for a game.

Not sure it qualifies as weird, but I ordered a Kevin Everett jersey when he sustained that terrible injury. It still hangs in my closet with the legends and the current players. I haven't had the heart to move it to the retired jersey bin with the likes of JP Losman and Willis McGahee.
