  1. Right on. And, quite honestly, I enjoyed watching yesterday's pre-season game more than I've enjoyed watching the majority of the regular season games under the former regime/quarterback in the past couple years. It might sound sad, but it's true. This new coaching staff and quarterback has brought a lot of optimism and excitement, and that is a big deal.
  2. Offense: Pace Defense: Aggressive Special Teams: Improved
  3. This. Even Luck looked quite uncomfortable at times. This is what you need to do in today's NFL. If the quarterback, especially a good one like Andrew Luck, is comfortable in the pocket, forget about it.
  4. They absolutely have outperformed certain members of the "real" media. The places I go if I want actual Bills training camp news are to their reports and those of Joe Buscaglia. Aside from them, there is virtually nothing of substance put out there.
  5. I don't know what it is about this, but "Ranks, Rastro!" makes me laugh every single time I see it. And I know it's coming.
  6. Forgot about Alfred Morris, good one. I feel like DeMarco Murray and McFadden are on about the same level as Fred because of their similar injury concerns. As much as I'm a Bama fan and loved him in college, Ingram has been a disappointment in the NFL to this point.
  7. IMO, and no particular order - Peterson, Spiller, Foster, Rice, Charles, Lynch, Doug Martin, Richardson, McCoy, Forte, Gore, Ridley, Steven Jackson, Chris Johnson, MJD....That's 15.....
  8. This. And/or seeing who can play LT should Glenn go down.
  9. I agree that they should be on the field together as much as possible, but Freddy is not a top-10 back in this league anymore.
  10. What a great read. Thanks for the link, OP. I am a firm believer that this organization has changed for the better, and an article like this is very encouraging.
  11. Good work, Astro! I appreciate the time and effort. Makes getting through a Friday work day a little easier.
  12. The backdrop of the city always looked pretty amazing on tv.
  13. I noticed that about Indy when I was at the old RCA Dome, too. No tailgating to be found at all. I didn't even see many parking lots at all, made you wonder how all these people got to the field.
  14. I will have to do that next time! I appreciate the insight. The stockyard area sounds well worth it.
  15. I noticed that as well haha. I chalk it up to a simple oversight, though, Neil Hornsby knows his football. PFF as a whole gives some of the freshest and best takes that you can find on the web IMO.
  16. Interesting read from a site that I consider very credible. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/07/31/neils-nfl-daily-july-31-2013/
  17. As was I. It seemed as though a guy like Tyran Matheau has just as many, if not more, off the field red flags and he was picked up in the the 3rd round. Matheau is very talented at his DB position, but Rogers may be just as talented on the other side of the ball. It's a bit puzzling, but I'm sure glad it worked out the way it did.
  18. I was lucky enough to go to the new Cowboys Stadium two years ago, and the pictures that you see on television and the stories you hear about it simply do not do it justice. It barely mattered that the Bills were absolutely embarrassed on the field. The atmosphere outside of the stadium as far as tailgating leaves a bit to be desired, nobody outside of Green Bay and Kansas City tailgates like Buffalo, but inside the walls it is a mecca. It's the cleanest public place I've ever been in, not just cleanest stadium. We did not wait in a line all day for food, beverage or piss break. The only thing that bothered me about the concessions was that Miller has all the marketing rights, so all that was being sold was Genuine Draft and Miller Lite, which I hate, but the food selection was outstanding. The architecture of the stadium is incredible, and many of us stood there in awe for a solid 10 minutes when we first walked in admiring it. Also, the Dallas fans were actually extremely respectful and courteous to everyone in our group. Even as we were getting the tar beat out of us. Lastly, the cheerleaders, including Nelson's ex, are second to none. One note I would add is that the stadium is in Fort Worth, and there isn't much to that area. If you do go there for a game, stay right in the city of Dallas and make the 40 minute drive to the stadium. I was very impressed with the food and bar scene of Dallas, and the people were great. I would recommend making the trip for a game to anyone that asks, and look forward to doing it again myself in the future.
  19. Just another example of why he needs to go. Funny part is, he probably doesn't see this as an issue. As thick-minded as they come.
