  1. Bills Super Bowl chances with the injuries plus losing to the Giants:
  2. I believe the game has changed so much on offense that Bellichek’s defensive schemes could not keep up. Maybe the game has passed him by, so to speak. The best evidence of this was two years ago when Josh Allen dismantled the Pats D in the playoffs. BB actually came over to the Bills locker room after the game to congratulate Allen...which I found unusual at the time, but now look back on it as his way of saying his D isn’t cut out to stop today’s QB’s like Allen and Mahomes....I think he’s just hanging on at this point to set the all time wins mark for a coach, and then he will retire, IMO.
  3. Exactly, this guy needs to end up in the NFC somewhere. There are enough good QB’s in the AFC as it is.
  4. Reminds me of another track guy, Marquise Goodwin...if a defender so much as looked at Goodwin the wrong way he would be out for three weeks!🙂
  5. Yeah....there is a 7 plus page thread about it and I'm sure this thread will soon be merged into it.
  6. Elam was inactive weeks 1-4 for a reason......his performance in week 5 was a visual representation of that reason. There’s no reason to think the D can’t be serviceable, but the chances of stopping the top offenses without Milano, Jones, White are not good.
  7. One other thing to consider here.....its likely that Groot and Epenesa have emerged due to the fact that Von has taken them "under his wing", so to speak and "coached them up", if you will. Not to mention the fact that the likely reason Floyd signed here for less money was due to the fact he was a prior teammate of Von's and was interested in playing with him again.
  8. no plus, its You're kidding?
  9. Fair enough, but you have to factor in a veteran presence and locker room leadership.... that's where Tre and Von excel.....not to mention the fact that when you need a big play in an important moment, guys like Tre and Von always rise to the occasion in those moments...so does Milano. Me
  10. I would have Taron Johnson number 5 on my list...he was laying on the turf looking like he was done for the season, but thankfully he popped back up and returned to the game.....at least the Bills were able to dodge that bullet!
  11. 1. Matt Milano 2. Von Miller(when fully healthy) 3. Tre White 4. DaQuan Jones
  12. Watching the Defense lose its 1st, 3rd, and 4th most important players in a span of two weeks is a real letdown for this team's Super Bowl aspirations...hopefully they can stitch together a serviceable enough D with the players remaining to allow Josh Allen and the Offense to win games in a "shoot-out" fashion.
  13. Elam was so bad, McD decided it was a better idea to have Hyde cover Calvin Ridley One on one instead of Elam.....yikes
  14. I’m pretty sure they had him on a “pitch count” for the game, and due to the fact that the D was on the field so often, that count got used up far earlier in the game than they anticipated.
  15. These injuries unfortunately take the team from Super Bowl contenders to a team that will still make the playoffs, but be a long shot to make the Super Bowl. Another year of Josh Allen’s career ruined by things truly out of anybody’s control...just bad luck.
  16. Milano is the Josh Allen of the Defense.....truly the one guy the D could not afford to lose.
  17. He does seem past his prime, but to be fair, he just missed a game due to a knee injury and I am sure he wasn’t playing at 100% out there today.
  18. Zack Moss 100+ yards and 2 TD’s Taylor who??
  19. Another wasted season.....I’m sure they will still be a good team, but any chances of winning the Super Bowl drove off on the cart with Milano, Tre White and DaQuan Jones🤢
  20. Not like Elam would have done any better in coverage anyway.
  21. We can see why Elam has been inactive the first four games
  22. Taron Johnson back out there....what a relief!!
