Have you seen how Josh plays in a dome?? Think of the Rams and Lions games last year. Anything that keeps the wind off the field is advantage Bills, and not being a dome preserves the cold weather advantage as well.

Honestly, I think the only two "real" injuries are Hairston and Shakir.......the rest would probably be playing if this was the regular season. The Bills are planning on playing well into January and hopefully February this year......it's a marathon, not a sprint. I want guys healthy then, not gutting it out in training camp even with a minor injury in August.

I'm left-handed but I play golf right-handed as well. When I was a kid, and just starting playing golf, I was told that it is actually an advantage for a lefty to play right-handed because your strong arm would be your leading arm in the swing. In fact, Phil Mickelson is actually right-handed, but plays left-handed for the same reason.

We're still waiting for that Miles Garret trade request to work out for Buffalo...... likely that this trade request will end up the same way.

Updating after the first week of camp: It looks like the Hairston injury all but locks Tre White as the starter in week 1....I think there was a high chance Tre was winning it before the injury anyway. It also appears Bishop has the Safety job locked up as well, even though he is missing today's practice with a quad injury. As for the final two battles, I think the Bills will use the two open roster spots due to the 6 game suspensions of Larry O and Hoecht to carry Lewis/Hancock and Jackson/Strong onto the roster at least for the first 6 weeks.....they might have some tough decisions to make if everyone on the roster is still healthy at that point. I really hope Hancock and Strong really show out in the preseason games....those are two of the players I will be watching closely next Saturday!

The Bills roster seems to be filled with guys who are willing to put in the work to be the best they can be.......obviously this starts with McBeane brining in guys with that type of mentality. Good to hear Bishop is putting in the work, and I expect to see that work translate to the field this season with a big jump in production. Now he needs to put in the work to find a better barber....that haircut doesn't scream intimidating hard hitting Safety.....he may have gone to the same Barber as this kid:

I would think and hope he was already doing that from day one of camp.

Where's UCF???? It's sorta right there in the name. I put National Champions in quotes because the school pulled a stunt of declaring themselves the National Champions because they were the only undefeated team that year, and they weren't given the opportunity to compete in the Playoff....it was really a shame that UCF was left out.....not saying they would have won, but they were certainly deserving of the chance to compete

I don't think I'm going to take a stab at this topic.

Allow me to put on my UCF alumni cap for a moment......Davis had offers to go to "bigger" schools, but wanted to stay closer to home....he's from Sanford, Fl which is about 30 miles from the UCF campus. Not to mention the fact that he was one of the main weapons on a team that won 19 games in a row, including a 13-0 "National Championship" season even though they unfairly weren't allowed into the four team BCS playoff.... OK.....UCF rant over!!

They could be just consoling him because of the fact that any camp injury or setback makes it nearly impossible for him to start week 1 as a rookie. The same thing happened to Bishop last year.

To be fair, the results of the Cleveland Browns season would probably be similar if they practiced or didn't practice.

After the first three days of practice: It seems the second Safety battle isn't much of a battle as Cole Bishop has played with the 1's each day.....good sign. Cam Lewis had a good day today, and it seems the coaches are planning on bringing Hancock along slowly....both will make the team, but Lewis seems to be the front runner in that battle. Haven't heard a lot about Jackson or Strong so far....has anyone going to the practices have any observations to share?? It looks like the Tre/Hairston battle is going to be the most intriguing battle of camp....it sounds like Tre is really going to make the rookie earn it!!

Josh Allen.....you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him....and most teams can't even do that!!
