  1. I think if you move the 1st having 2 2nd's will definitely make it easier. But I don't think the one 1st gets you to the top 3 WR's in this Draft... And trading a 1st and a 2nd next year is a lot... Even if it's a down year because rookie deals are still really important to keeping the cap in line. I don't know... I've never been a trade up guy so... Anyway... We'll see...
  2. Again... If it was a 2024 2nd I would fully agree...
  3. I would agree if it was a 2024 2nd... I know Rick Spielman is saying this may be the best WR Draft, heck even the best Draft overall in NFL history. It's the perfect storm of the covid and NIL fallout... This is a crazy good Draft year.
  4. Oh...OK I see... Much better way of explaining it. Thanks!
  5. I don't mind trading Diggs and I like the cap relief next year... I think they were just done dealing with him tbh... But the compensation is terrible and I don't care what anyone says... Not getting something in 2024 is a massive failure for Beane because this may very well be the best WR Draft in recent memory. Sure Beane can dig his way out of it. But come on... He could not even get them to throw in a 3rd this year? Houston has 42, 86, 123 and 127 this year! He could not get ONE of those picks in a WR heavy Draft? It's not great...
  6. 2025 2nd is a joke... Terrible...
  7. Holy s***!!! 2 WR's on the way...
  8. He was sick at the Combine and reportedly looked much better at his Pro Day... If you get a chance, and you have not already, watch this pod. Take it for what it's worth (I know...I know... PFF, etc...), but analytically (high end model guy) Franklin is near the top of this class... Palazzolo breaks it down pretty well (the Franklin talk starts around the 39:00 mark)... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dKpsFAurAQ
  9. Agreed...There's always the chance of one slipping through, but the thing is...if one is sliding, it's for a reason... And is the reason something the Bills agree with? As we all know DK Metcalf slid...But the Bills passed on him again in the 2nd in favor of Cody Ford. The Bill needed a WR that year, and folks like me had Metcalf rated in the top 10... The Bills did clearly did not. So the pool will naturally be more shallow by 60. But it will be even more shallow because it's very likely a few of the WR's that fall that fall will not be worthy of #60 on the Bills Big Board...
  10. I think Franklin is still very much in play at 28...
  11. If Mitchell and Thomas are gone I prefer the trade back. I think Franklin would be the target in that scenario.
  12. Always feeling pretty good... One reason...
  13. If the opinions of folks like Rick Spielman and Daniel Jeremiah matter, Powers-Johnson does not make it past Dallas at 25. Mostly because he's a possibility for Pittsburgh, Miami, and Philly before Dallas. Pittsburgh specifically is desperate for a C... Folks seem to be super high on Powers-Johnson. Frazier likely goes to one of those teams in the 2nd that don't get Powers-Johnson in the 1st... If that happens Frazier goes no later than 56... Right now I would be flat out shocked if the Bills went O-Line in the first 2 rounds. Maybe if they fill the roster out a little more at DT, DE, and S... No doubt McD is going to love Frazier... We'll see...
  14. Disappointing
  15. I'm still mad...
  16. This is massive bullspit...
  17. After listening to that Jim Monos interview this morning, then seeing all of this, I'm pretty pumped for Free Agency...
  18. Wow!!! This is nuts... But I'm REALLY excited about all these moves... I think it was time...
  19. You would literally have to have intimate knowledge on the way they are coached nowadays individually to properly determine if it's true or not that a player is taking downs off because some coaches are coaching them to do it in order to preserve energy for the next down. They know when the ball is not coming to them. And if that's the case it's the easiest thing in the world to fix. You just tell them that's not the way we do it around here and here is why... Then you point to #17...
  20. The question about the 14 min mark... He just nails it. And it's great to hear someone of his caliber admit it...
  21. I really like Legette... I agree with the Deebo thing more as a projection than anything. As in I think Legette can be that kind of weapon for an NFL Offense given some time in the right system. He's a little stiff...Not the most fluid route runner or anything like that...But he could be a walking talking business decision for DB's as a RAC option... The guy looks like he's going to break a million tackles, but he did not do that much in College. He can definitely fly if you give him space and he seems to have really good hands...I think he only had a couple drops in 2023... None of these players are a finished product, and that goes for Legette too... But get him in the right system used properly and he could be really, really special.
  22. The Bills have 11 picks now... So...to me at least...Here's what this trade means. Trading their 3rd round (comp) pick should get the Bills up to about 23rd overall. Trading their 4th round pick should get the Bills up to about 26th overall. Trading both those picks and a little something from next year could get them into the 20th overall range. I think they are Brian Thomas hunting... We'll see...
