OK...That was better...

The whole 2nd quarter was a cluster-you-know-what...It looked like Cameron twitched on the play Marrone threw the challenge flag...That could have been HUGE...Just one of the worst quarters of football you're ever going to see...So many mistakes, bad plays, bad penalties, Hughes covering the TE on a 3rd down, the punt return...Good grief...I can go on and on...Hope they got it out of their system because there is no way anyone can convince me this Browns team is better than the Bills...Even the banged up Bills...This is a win-able game, but you can't go out playing and coaching like idiots against ANY NFL team...This is a gut check for this young team...I'll be interested in how they respond...Forgive me if I have litte optimism at this point...That 2nd quarter was a serious shot to the gut...

EJ completely breaks down with pressure and all that coaching goes out the window...Really disappointed in him in this game...There were plays to be made...He's got a ways to go to get rid of those old habits...

This team is it's own worst enemy...What a terrible 2nd quarter...Just brutal in almost every way...

That team is absolutely loaded at the receiver positions...The emergence of Julius Thomas, along with the Welker addition, makes them ridiculously deadly... But why do I get this feeling that they make it to the SB and bad weather completely neutralizes the Broncos in NJ? Would that not be crazy?

It's a great question...I have no idea what the answer is unless the rule states clearly that both feet must touch the ground...Which may very well be the rule...I don't know...

Also...On the 1st TD to Brown I only saw one replay during the game and I thought Brown had jammed Rogers in the helmet, so I went back and looked at it again this AM...It looked to me like Brown pretty blatantly stiff-armed Rogers to the helmet on his break creating the separation...I saw Rogers head snap back a bit...Watch the slow-mo replay at the end of the link...Brown extends his arm out to Rogers face mask then kind of pushes off...I don't think that is legal...But whatever... Anyway...That's where the slight separation happened for sure...Not saying these things are called regularly, making an excuse, or anything like that...Just saying...Rogers had pretty decent coverage on that play, and I'm at least fairly certain there was an illegal hands to the face...A tiny little thing that allowed Brown to get that position... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000252018/Brown-10-yard-TD

Every time Williams played poorly in his first three years I was reminded of my very close friend who lives in Dallas, and is a HUGE Longhorns fan...When the Bills drafted Aaron he told me we were getting a difference maker...He absolutely LOVES Aaron Williams...My friend was surprised we were going to play him at CB though...He felt he was a Pro Bowl Safety waiting to happen...I think the move to Safety, and the Coaching Aaron has got here, has clearly brought his confidence back...He's always had the ability...Now he's relaxing out there and just playing...When and if we are ever at full strength in the secondary I expect Williams to really shine...I think he's just scratching the surface...I'm certain my friend believes the same...

Powell was brutal today...No doubt about it...Could have hurt us worse than it did...
