  1. He has enough to digest just getting the defense part down right now. Not to mention the O already has two guys who are electric at WR. There's no need to put McKelvin in at WR.
  2. Think it was hurdles...so a running AND jumping event.
  3. Because with a free kick there is no rush and the kicker can get a head of steam to kick the ball (as opposed to three steps). It basically looks like a kickoff without a tee.
  4. With the exception of the drive where he had two penalties (which ended in a TD btw) show me where he was "sub par" today. Was it in giving large holes for Lynch and Jackson to run through or loads of time for Edwards to find a WR? Just point point out where "for the most part" he was sub par. I'll save you the time - he wasn't. He looked like an All Pro out there today just like he has the past few weeks. I'll give you that he was very rusty for the first 5-6 games but he has been sensational during the past month.
  5. No playoffs. They'll beat San Fran then lose to the Dolphines, Jets and Broncs before closing the season with a win against the Pats. If that Dolphin game was at the Ralph I'd pencil it in as a win...
  6. Peters was once again dominant today - as he has been the past month. He's a stud bull in run blocking and pass blocking. Someone needs to open their eyes and stop holding grudges because you didn't like the guy's holdout.
  7. What does JP have to do with the Bills poor play on offense this year? Now ask that same question about Edwards. That being said I'm impressed with the way Edwards played in the 2nd quarter. I hope he keeps it up.
  8. I definately like the confidence he displayed in the 2nd quarter. I also like the confidence the coaching staff had in not just calling dump off and screens. Finally they let the guy cut lose. I'd rather go down fighting than go down with a whimper.
  9. I'm assuming you mean Pats. I want the Phins to win (which makes me choke back vomit to say.)
  10. They'd select Dick Jauron in the first round. He wasf, after all, a DB in his playing days....
  11. Some of you guys are just clueless. Peters had a bad drive in terms of penalties but have you seen him play lately? Bulldozer run blocking and a brick wall pass blocking. After he shook the rust off from his holdout he's been dominant.
  12. Never seen a team try to hide their QB more than the Bills have the past few weeks. If you don't trust the guy get him off the field. If you do trust the guy let him put the ball up just a little bit.
  13. The team was mediocre well before Jauron got here and they'll likely be mediocre long after he's gone. I wouldn't blame him for "manipulating" them into accepting mediocrity. It's in their blood.
  14. It's the entire organization from the top down. Owner's decisions on GM's, GM's decisions on Head Coach and Heach Coaches decisions on staff. It's the trickle down effect. Any owner that would fire Pollian pretty much deserves what he gets after that. The fans, however, deserve better.
  15. I'm with you. Every year teams land quality vet QBs who help them win. Warner, Collins, Garcia, etc. There is no need to keep spending first day picks on the position. Draft DL and OL help, get a weak side backer, and get a quality vet QB to come in and compete with Edwards for the job. Drafting another QB is the best way to keep this rebuilding going forever. While we're at it I'd also like to see the Bills bring in a reliable TE - either through the draft or via FA. They could use another possession WR as well as they only have one on the team at the moment - and he's hurt.
  16. This is the thing that is most perplexing to me. Evans is the most dynamic and explosive player on offense. Find a way to get him the ball. WR screens, 7 yard curls, 5 yard outs. Keep getting it to him short just to get the ball in his hands. Teams have so much respect for Evans speed that he could be catching these short balls all game long. Then, later in the game, let him use his fantastic double move (one of the best in the game) to get open deep. It's simply mind boggling how they can not throw a single ball to their best offensive player.
  17. The D has been pretty good for the most part yet they have the exact same problems that Bills Ds over the past 7 or so years have had - when they have to step up at the end of a game and make a stop they cannot do it. They either allow long time consuming drives or they allow just enough points to be scored to lose games.
  18. Sadly, Dave is probably right - the division will be there for the taking after week 13. Why do I say this? Because the Bills find the absolute worst ways to rip out their fan's hearts. So they'll turn this thing around in the next 3 weeks and start to give us all hope...only to collapse at the very end of the season and miss the playoffs once again.
  19. The Bills are on the 20 year rebuilding plan. The fans just need to be patient.
  20. I've seen #1 WRs get shut out before but I don't think I've ever seen a game where they weren't even thrown to.
  21. That was my first thought as well. He didn't have the gloves on tonight though.
  22. The OL was fantastic tonight as well. Trent had hours to throw when he dropped back and the running game finally got on track.
  23. You lose accuracy when you have to kick the ball harder. Nobody thought he couldn't get the ball there from 47 yards...
