    Fire Doug Whaley signs are not in order, for there's no way that it's going to happen mid-season. Now, whether he gets extended after the season is a different story.

    Maybe. I think it's more likely that he leaves on a high note, after proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the G.O.A.T. Two more rings would probably do it.

    Well, at least EJ hasn't completely **** the bed at home yet, at least not in the regular season. If he does and the crowd gets really ugly, I think Pegs will be none too pleased at all, could be the beginning of the end for DW.

    Sounds about right. Looking at 1 & 3, I think a lot depends on how marketable Whaley actually is around the league. If he's presented an opportunity with another team giving him more clout, he may choose to leave rather than extend. I can't see him getting any kind of bump in that regard here, he's either working for Pegs again or for the czar, with no direct control over Rex.

    Yeah, Marrone was Brandon's boy, but Rex was all Peg's call. Does Rex report to Whaley? Nope.

    Yep. After today, there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that EJ is a coach-killer. Marrone's move after Week 4 last year was absolutely correct.
