Great post. I agree with everything except the part of rather seeing Cassel this weekend, EJ's preseason changed me there.

Bungles 28-13 EDIT: Right before the game, I'm changing my pick to Bills 16-14. If Thad Lewis can almost get a win against the Bungles 2 years ago, EJ can do enough to get the job done.

Mostly goes with the Pollyanna syndrome. Everything is sunshine, lollipops, & rainbows when it comes to the Bills. God forbid anyone say something disparaging about the team, let alone a player. I agree with Sammy, get him the ball.

Imagine if the Cowboys game here was this week instead of after Xmas.

IMO no current announcer needs a good B word-slapping more than Phil Simms, so I'm glad the Bills don't get the #1 CBS team.

If he's on the field and you throw him the ball enough, he will make plays, and some of those plays will be dominating, we've all seen that... it won't take a month for that, just get him the ball. Now, I do think the O will be a lot better overall a month from now the more they work together.

Bust? No. Disappointment so far this year? Sure. Plenty of time to turn that around though.

OP is right, Taylor is a baller. I agree that he still needs to work on his game, but it was just great to see a Bills QB take command of the situation, put the team on his back, and get a W. That's something that we haven't seen in years, and certainly never ever from his beloved backup. I see that a lot of the criticism directed his way is coming from butt-hurt EJ fans who won't be happy until their boy is starting again. Only EJ is the farthest thing from a baller, he's just a dork with a big arm (see: Mallett, Bledsoe). Can't wait to see Taylor later this year with his weapons back and (hopefully) the OL straightened out.

I'd say Flutie was better than Fitz, but they were both easily the best since Jimbo, which isn't saying much. Only 5 games, but so far, I'd say TT is only behind Flutie, but with upside.
