  1. Maybe if they backed their way in to the SB or showed any sign of slipping, but both are on top of their game. They'll both be back IMO, win or (shockingly) lose.
  2. God bless Danny + you & your family, NG.
  3. Poor TO. Much respect for TD and Easley. To me, LT (and Rivers) will always be defined by the biggest game by far in their careers, the Chargers-Pats AFC Championship game. As such, I would consider voting for Rivers, but could never ever vote for LT. The others are meh to wtf. Jerry Jones is the only one who definitely belongs, but I'd have a hard time voting for him because it's Jerry f'n Jones. I'm OK with Warner if only for that year with the Rams, what an incredible story. Jason Taylor, just NO. And as for Morton Anderson, Steve Tasker should be pissed.
  4. Don Shula is still king of the douches.
  5. Absolutely inexcusable.
  6. Nobody puts Lil Doug in the corner!
  7. I don't miss Hogan, but there's no doubt that Lil Doug botched the WR corps. It was pretty obvious in training camp, when one Hall-of-Fame nitwit in here said don't worry, we have Hankerson lol. Gotta look at the big picture, any article that furthers the "Lil Doug is a chump" storyline can only be a good thing.
  8. http://www.syracuse.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2016/11/butch_trucks_center_of_the_arts.html Maybe he should've left the country after all.
  9. Couldn't agree more with that article. Even if they win, Atlanta pro sports teams still = zzzzzzzz.
  10. That is some serious 'toe in the Mary picture. RIP MTM. a true icon.
  11. RIP Butch.
  12. There are a lot of informed fans on this board who have predicted the Bills would make the playoffs over the past 17 years. No question at all about their prognostication skills, it's pretty obvious.
  13. Re: Super Bowl appearances, I do think just getting there is a great accomplishment for a QB, but that can be negated by the performance in the game. For instance, McNabb puking on the field during the potentially game-winning drive defines his career for me.
  14. Too early to call it, need to see what team they go to.
  15. Right now, I put Brady with Montana as the 2 greatest QB's I have seen since I really started watching football in OJ's rookie year. They are both far above the rest to me. After Brady most likely gets his 5th ring in 2 weeks, he will surpass Joe. I think he finally calls it a day after 6 rings, leaving absolutely no doubt he is the GOAT. Much apologies to Otto Graham, but he was too far before my time.
  16. I've never had any respect for the Falcons franchise, they are totally meh to me. I believe these past 2 weeks are the first time I've watched them play since the game in Toronto... unless they were in a playoff game between then and last season which I don't remember cause meh. On the other hand, I do respect the Pats, but don't want to see them win. If BB or Brady would quit after 5 rings, maybe it would be different, but I can't see either leaving just yet. So I will watch and I'm sure during the game I will pick one side to win, but right now I'm not happy with this matchup at all. I think Pats win 9 out of 10 times they play, Falcons can win but need a lot of luck.
  17. I see Hogan just made the Drudge Report.
  18. Well, 18 is a pretty safe bet.The record is 25 though. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_franchise_post-season_droughts Brady, BB, and Lil Doug will be gone before it gets that high, at least I hope so.
  19. The real sad thing IMO is that neither of them will quit. Maybe after 6.
  20. Does food, beer, and internet count?
