I also approved the Rex Ryan hire. I figured if Pegs wouldn’t clean house of all Ralph’s trash, Rex would at least shake things up.

After some dreadful years of Levy/Brandon in charge, I approved getting Doug Whaley from the Steelers front office. An injection of talent from a first class organization.

Fergy had terrible pocket presence. He would always run backwards trying to get away from the rush and lose a ton of extra yards getting sacked at the worst possible times, used to drive me crazy when I was a kid. Marangi was mobile and (in the pre-season and I think a couple mop-up appearances) he was much better at getting away from pressure and making plays. When he finally got some actual playing time, reality set in HARD.

Dump Sad Sack Fergy, let Gary Marangi take over.

Mike Tomczak started out with the Bears, maybe history will repeat itself. -

Panthers take Jaycee Horn, CB from South Carolina. If the Panthers would've taken Stefon Gilmore from South Carolina, Luke Kuechly would been taken next by the Bills. Damn shame, ain't it Sherlock Holmes? -

Hollywood Chase. He would annoy me in Miami, so enjoy Cincy! -

Tough question: who needs a punch in the face more, Trevor Lawrence or Zach Wilson? I’ll still say Lawrence, but it’s closer than I thought. -
If you’re a GM in the NFL, you really can’t not look a player cause he went to a certain school. If you’re a Bills fan on this board though playing GM (including all the serious GM wannabe’s), you live by your own rules. That’s why I won’t draft Ohio State QB’s, high-motor lunch-pail WR’s, or burn high draft picks on anyone from Clemson.

Jerry Butler, but I agree, just say NO to Clemson.

Consider what happened the last time we traded up to take a weapon from Clemson and just say NO. -

Sam Wyche's alarm clock did not work with Drew Bledsoe. Like you said though, he had nothing to work with. -

Maybe not as a person, but he certainly was a PoS of an owner. -

JP along with Gary Marangi were my 2 biggest Bills QB disappointments. After 2.5 years of absolute garbage with the brain-dead POS statue, I was so excited to change to a mobile QB in 2005, damn shame it didn’t work out. In 2007, I was more than cool with it, but I was a little surprised he got such a quick hook for Edwards. -
Yeah, I may not be Canadien, but the Spirit was better than anything on Buffalo radio (other than Gary Storm’s Oil of Dog, of course).

Obviously Neil and Joni... but I will give a shout-out to Nash The Slash, may he RIP.

I heard about this driving home from work on the FAN here in Baltimore. The consensus take is that he is a far better RT than LT and not even close in talent to Ronnie Stanley who will be returning from injury. Once he became a malcontent, there was no problem shipping him off when the deal was right. They don’t like that he was traded to the rival Chiefs, but consensus again is that he will have issues with protecting the Rat’s blind side from speed rushers. Competent? Yes. Great? Absolutely not. -
Justin Fields confirms epilepsy rumor

Yeah, I wouldn’t draft either of them that high, let alone burn 3 #1’s on them, but at least Mac Jones would still be on my board. Art Schlichter was one of my biggest all-time disappointments, I thought he’d be great in the NFL. AJ Hawk too, but I’d have no problem drafting an OSU LB these days. -

Looking at pedigree, Alabama has had Joe Namath, Bart Starr, and Ken Stabler as QBs. Ohio State has had Mike Tomczak.
