  1. Could we get a player to retire during the ceremony as well?
  2. He only has a few more than Allen. I think INT% is probably one of the most important stats. Brees just has it all this year...
  3. Let's get the guy at the top of the rankings by YPA? https://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/yardsPerPassAttempt
  4. There is a very good chance he will be OK with a 1 year deal with enough of it baked in as a signing bonus. And of course the remainder would be guaranteed as of week 1. So he has little to lose unless he is really sure he will play more than 1 more year.
  5. Maybe there is going to be a lot of rushing to keep the game short. Fewer plays = fewer injuries. For both teams.
  6. But only rookies do that, right?
  7. His terrible year is probably more on the OL and coaching than his age, but his age isn't going to improve. Hopefully the other 2 will. I would not put any star back behind this OL.
  8. Not sure if that was the injury or the new holder. We should have used a spot on Schmidt just to hold.
  9. That drop by Jones was of an accurate pass.
  10. On passing plays. The runs are actually less punishment.
  11. That Darnold throw was basically the same mistake Allen made.
  12. Benjamin: gone. Crossman: still here.
  13. Blast from the past. http://www.dailycamera.com/broncos-nfl/ci_32316026/travis-henry-runs-into-record-book-titans-rout
  14. All of the people who thought Hughes was being ridiculous by denying the confrontation to reporters, he was being smart and getting good advice. "I'd like to see the tape". "I don't recall that". My opinion of him went up.
  15. If the refs are calling too many penalties, change the rule book. We don't need TOO many penalties especially nitpicky ones. Don't change the play. However, if the issue is players unable to follow the rules, then increase the penalty and that will make teams pay attention. "Illegal block in the back; the kicking team will retain possession, automatic first down". "Offside, kicking team; by rule, 15 yards will be added to the end of the return." That will cut down on the penalties and we'll see more players getting cut for them, too.
  16. Let me add some props for ditching Andre "illegal block in the back" Holmes. If he's a core special teams player, not getting penalized on returns would be a good start.
  17. You don't think he did himself any harm backing out on Indianapolis?
  18. Special teams have to take the blame for this loss.
