  1. I think he's less scummy than Robert Kraft.
  2. Jimmy's Old Town Tavern in Herndon, VA has been going for quite a while. Has a lot of genuine Buffalo food. Haven't been back in a while but at least it has lasted.
  3. Is the hypothetical punter the BPA?
  4. We have so many holes, I would support l reasonable trades that get us more day 1-2 picks. Not much need for later picks and not a ton of interest in 2020 picks other than 1st, but would prefer not to give up rd 1-5 picks.
  5. Where's Ronnie Jones when you need him?
  6. Ok when I thought about this, I figured that Rex would get very distracted in Miami. Lots of sandals and flip flops... I just wonder if he can stay focused.
  7. I am optimistic about Allen but I don't really get why people are making comparisons to Baker Mayfield. Baker was the #1 overall pick and was assumed to be more pro-ready from day 1. He has had a superior year to Allen which is as expected. So what? Allen needs to grow which again was the plan. The question really becomes, will he improve? I would say the signs are good but he might also hit a wall. We will have to find out how he can do with a better roster in 2019.
  8. Since he has now stated that he is only looking to go year to year, this becomes very clean. His numbers are good and probably the most important thing for an older player, he was still playing well at the end of the season. He played in all 16 games and compared to 2017 he had better stats in most categories (sacks, Int, passes defended, tackles for loss; almost all but forced fumbles). On the other hand time catches up quicker than you expect. So... his salary in 2018 was basically $3.1M considering bonuses. What is fair for 2019? Looking at the increased cap and weighing against his increased age, I would go in around $3M. Yes there is a risk that he hits the wall but the loss in that case is not even as bad as the risk we took on Corey Coleman. We ate $3.5M in cap and a 7th rd pick on that. So, something in the $3M range, give or take a little, seems like a no-brainer??
  9. I would entertain trade down offers. We need multiple pieces on offense, especially on the OL. However, if we can get some credible FAs then we take BPA.
  10. Also avoiding injury when we were up 25. Good work.
  11. That is probably true, but not necessarily to Eric Wood levels.
  12. I don't recall seeing a QB victimizing a defense like this except for the time I watched Vince Young ruin the Bills in a 30-29 nailbiter.
  13. So, Allen still loses several passes a game (bad throws). Yes, so do most QBs but unfortunately he is losing 2-3 more per game and that needs to get better.
  14. Looks like injury, not holder, since there is no holder on KOs.
  15. Did Schmidt really do that poorly? I mean it wasn't good, but...
  16. I would agree that McD goes into a shell too early, shades of Jauron. I would never go into a shell in the 1st half and would not sit on a 14 pt lead until 6-7 min left in the 4th. However... I wonder if he is trying to cover for a bad team by playing conservatively.
  17. Really? Never? Is this your first or second season watching the Bills?
  18. And Crossman. Who do you think made the call to cut Schmidt?
  19. Our coaches should study this film and teach our OL to hold using the same technique.
  20. Don't they list based on probability of playing? There was a 100% chance of him playing. Just not playing well. I can't tell whether the problem is injury, holder, or mental. There was one bad hold so far this season causing an aborted kick. But this is a very dramatic decline which tends to point at holder or injury.
