  1. I'm ready to usher out the Roscoe era right about now...Freddie can return punts with Lynch coming back...
  2. I don't think we'll see Stevie Johnson returning kicks but I do think that he'll be on the field as the 4th WR.
  3. We've got to get a few tips or force a few mistakes from the Saints...or be lucky enough for them to force them themselves. Anything to keep points off the board for NO.
  4. Clearly Jackson is carrying more than his fair share of the load in the first three games...he will need a well-deserved breather once Lynch gets back and if Lynch has a few big games early then we are right back to where we were when the season ended last year with two great backs.
  5. Great game...another good showing by the interior of the offensive line. Good to get that first win coming off of last week...now can anyone conjure up a blizzard to slow the Saints down next week?
  6. Pretty much the same inactives as last week except Palmer for Poz...Kelsay is good to go it seems.
  7. I had same issue but I refreshed authorities on the web site...was very frustrating but i wasn't ready to go crazy over it since I was watching Jets and Pats which was on local and the Bills are on local later.
  8. I thought there was artwork to go along with the message...
  9. I say McKelvin gets a standing O when he steps on to the field Sunday. I was p.o.'ed at him after the game but he was one of our better younger players and what happened to him afterward was despicable. it would be a nice gesture by the fans to show him that he still belongs.
  10. Yeah...I hear ya on that...try living up here year round. Sad thing is that I was taking crap for a week, hearing about blowouts and 50 points and all that nonsense and they come back today and talk about Brady magic and all this other crap, totally blowing off that they're ridiculous predictions were far off the mark. It really is a testament to the level of the fan base here in Boston. One guy even said we wouldn't have been in the game if it weren't for all of the horrible calls by the refs...ridiculous. I will say though I love how some of the smarter fans like my brother are starting to take notice of some of our players....Fred Jackson obviously but my brother was crowing about Reggie Corner and how he was all over the place. It is somewhat refreshing seeing them remember some of our role players names for the next time.
  11. Isn't breaking the same arm twice kind of fluky? I've never heard of anyone having an arm susceptible to breaking.
  12. Like I said in the game thread....give Freddie j. a chance to put the game away and there may not have been that Brady magic.
  13. AVP seems like it was the right decision. I don't recall a better called game last year.
  14. He's never played MLB has he? Any MLB's out there still? We need one BAD.
  15. You know it's funny because after all of the talk before the game about 70 points, 80 points, we give them the game at the end with a bonehead mistake and it was like they never said any of that...just more patriots ball washing.
  16. These guys are going to be players in this league...very good players. Great showing in their first pro games against a tough interior line. Bell is very rough around the edges but he shows flashes. Need to knock off the mental mistakes. And Hangartner didn't look too bad either. I really am not being sarcastic when I say I have a hard time being optimistic now because I seriously am. All I heard today was about how much of a joke our offensive line was...well they didn't play like a joke tonight. I saw more fire on that line than I have in years.
  17. It's hard not to put it on McKelvin...the way Freddie was running it was a shame he didn't have a chance to put it away.
  18. I dunno, our LBs looked pretty weak without him in there.
  19. I feel bad for 52 guys right now.
  20. The no huddle looks like it works as long as we are moving the ball...keep moving the chains and the Pats are susceptible to it with the mix of age and inexperience on their defense. Who woulda thunk?
  21. NELSON!!!!
  22. It looked like he was on his backside when the ball came out.
  23. Nelson with the block!
  24. Look at Bell getting in Wilfork's face...love it
