    Well, honestly since he left, with the exception of 2007, the offenses have been somewhat of a disappointment and they haven't won a Super Bowl.

    Fox might not be the guy but how can you honestly compare him to Dick Jauron? Fox has a winning record as a coach...Jauron never has had more than one winning season as a head coach. Fox has a winning record in the playoffs, Jauron doesn't have any playoff wins. No comparison.

    I'd almost rather have Shanny sign now so we can focus on getting a personnel guy in here.

    I would put lots of money down that whoever comes in to make the personnel decisions will take about two seconds to pencil Jackson and Lynch's name into the roster for next year and moves on to more pressing needs. Namely almost every other position.

    Yeah but I cringe whenever I see all 4 on the field at the same time.

    I'm sure when it is time to draft/sign players for next year they should have a better idea of Wood's status for next year. And I do think it is ridiculous to automatically count him out (weren't people trying to convince us that Byrd wouldn't even play this season when he was hurt in the pre-season?)

    In a perfect world we only play two safeties at a time on the field. Scott and Byrd are my choices.

    I just hope they new staff can work him in where he should be - Strong Safety.

    And that's exactly why they will be picking ahead of us in April.

    And with every Tony Romo December performance a vacancy is looking more and more likely.

    That's not an overall poor strategy. They wanted to get a leg up on the big names that they will likely be competing for. Shanahan bit, the other guys (Holmgren, Cowher, Gruden) turned them down. If Ralph is serious about it and he misses out on those guys then the Reese's and the Casserly's of the world will be available.

    I think that Pennington's days as a starting QB are over with his second serious shoulder injury. He'd be a solid back-up guy to have around though.

    I think it would be rather dumb to take a RB as well.

    I really agree with that statement and hate all of the people who say it will take another 2-3 years max for the Bills to be competitive again. All you need is a good personnel team and an off season. Look at the Dolphins, they were a 1-15 mess and Parcells came in and put that organizational structure in place and they are a solid franchise again.

    I don't think any of those guys are real franchise guys anyway. Seems like we'll need to take a flyer on a Pike or a Locker and hope that he's the guy.

    Well seeing that Turk didn't do any of that stuff last year either I'd say the chances of you seeing it would be slim also.

    I want ALL draft picks to be offensive linemen and defensive front 7 (and a QB) this offseason.

    There was no time left on the play clock on the next play, the Saints were all pointing up to the clock. That was ridiculous.

    To say that Brees is in the zone right now would be a huge understatement. He's unconscious.

    Watching how the Pats use Maroney on screens, the Bills should use Lynch in a similar fashion. Let him get space out in the open field and break some tackles.
