Don't forget how much T.O. has ruined this franchise since he has signed as a free agent, even if he hasn't done anything of the sort.

He's one of those classic "make a great play that makes him look like a superstar one minute then make a bonehead play to make him look like a rookie the next minute" kind of guy.

Yup...Scott's an absolute beast...Sanchez has looked pretty inconsistent so far though...I guess you could expect that from a rookie.

The problem with that scenario is you are trying to look at it logically from the Raiders point of view...I don't believe logic is something that enters into Al Davis' strategy much anymore.

Green Bay was moving to a 3-4 and Raji was a no-brainer for them. You do realize it takes two to complete a trade right? Why would GB trade with us or anyone before them? Oakland? Forget about it...Jaguars? Maybe but they needed a tackle and got Monroe. Plus we would have likely had to given up our 2nd round pick...my point is that it is pretty unfair to Maybin to compare him to Raji when he didn't get picked before him and the Bills really had no shot at him. Of course Raji was a good pick, that's why he went #9 in the draft. I think Raji is going to have a great career as a pro. I just fail to see what that has to do with the Bills or Aaron Maybin.

I think Wood and Levitre will be players in this league and I don't mind them getting reps against big time NFL D-lines so early in their careers...I was talking more on a personal level with those guys because they'll still be around regardless of the coaching staff for a while hopefully.

See, this is exactly the type of mentality that I hate. I know a lot of people are down on our GM and coach, etc. but c'mon. Raji was picked 9th. We picked 11th. End of controversy. Moving on...

I noticed that Tim Graham gave him props in his thoughts on the game. He had been very underwhelming in the preseason so far. Did he step it up last night or what? It's looking more and more like we're going to have to count on this guy to make plays this year. For those who got the game live...how did he look?

Have you seen Scott in coverage? He's basically another linebacker out there. Our best duo now is Whitner and Scott. If Byrd develops than our best duo will be Byrd and Whitner. Could we have a better safety tandem? Sure can. Not with anyone on this roster though.

I say bring these defenses on...trial by fire. I like seeing these guys getting reps against tough defenses...so long as they learn and improve.

We need to see what Maybin can do before we jettison both Kelsay and Schobel. I'd cut one of them right now in a heartbeat. As for Whitner, like it or not he is the best safety we have on the roster right now, sorry to be the one to break the news.

Yeah that's what you always hear about the guy...he is so likable with his teammates, etc. but so distinguishably unlikable with the way he puts himself out there. It's one of those things where people read too much into his actions I think. At the end of the day he is just out there having fun, never gets arrested or anything like that. Although the name changed screams of attention whore.

Honestly what is the fascination with Everette Brown? The guy fell harder than a 1 ton weight off a cliff in the draft. It's almost like people think the rest of the GMs in the NFL were in cahoots to play a cruel joke on the Bills and their fans by passing on him once (some even twice) just so the Bills could pass on the guy and we could all regret it for the rest of our lives.
