  1. This is a great point. Drives have been huge against a great defense.
  2. Cowboys over Pats (for division and so that Dallas isn’t hungry/desperate on Thanksgiving). They are one of those up/down teams, like the Eagles. How they play one week depends quite a bit on their play the previous week and the context of the game.
  3. Absolutely rooting for the Browns. It's true that they have an easier schedule down the stretch, but in addition to the upcoming games against the Steelers and Ravens, it's completely plausible that they randomly stumble against Arizona or Miami. The Browns do not play consistently enough to win out (or likely to even get to nine wins). Let the Steelers catch them on one of their up days.
  4. I agree with this. I think they beat Dallas on Thanksgiving. Dallas is vulnerable on days they don't show up, and that game has all the right elements (home against an opponent that you're expected to handle).
  5. Browns will be desperate and coming off a bye next week while Pats will be on short rest. Then again, I thought Jets would make this close, if not outright win....
  6. I don’t know about you all, but I’m starting to think this Gase fellah isn’t a very good coach...
  7. I think the Jets win straight up, and this is the start of a slide for the Pats. They are overconfident after an easy schedule and beating us after Josh Allen went out (I know, I know, he was terrible, but he always shows up in the 4th). After this week, Pats lose against Cleveland (who will be desperate and coming off a bye) and go 2-4 as a whole over the next six games. The question is will the Bills be able to take advantage of it. <-- One can dream, right?
  8. Congrats to the Pats on the win. I’m just not watching the SB again. No big deal. Simply not interested and plenty of other stuff to do.
  9. Said the same thing to a friend yesterday. We lost the battle but won the war
  10. If I’ve learned anything with this team, it’s that they are completely unpredictable. Who knows...
  11. But they’ll never see it coming! It’s the ultimate zig when they thing you’re going to zag move!
  12. Won’t happen, but I think it would be a smart move. He did look good his last season playing, and the potential is there. Makes as much sense as the other possible bridges to a rookie, and the upside is higher too.
  13. Another way to phrase this would be, "would you trade places with the Browns right now if you could..." My answer is no.
  14. Romo is giving a clinic on Tyrod’s shortcomings.
  15. Calm down, everyone. The Colts or Browns might beat the Ravens too (yes, they are that bad). The Jaguars or Titans could fall out of it (they aren't very good either). The Bills could lose to the Dolphins or Colts as well (everyone is terrible). There is so much football left to play... It could be that the Bengals and KC get the wildcard spots with the LA Chargers winning their division. It is a madhouse and too early to figure out who will be competing with us for a wild card (if we make it that far).
  16. Crazy that they just don’t put a sensor in the ball.
  17. If we beat KC, they’ll only be one game up on the Cargers with another against them. Help ourselves immensely with a win (in this year’s playoff picture and the draft pick from KC). With only a game above, no way KC holds off LA (so odd to write LA instead of San Diego)
  18. Chargers are going to win the AFC West. Mark it down. They are on fire and everyone else is a tire fire.
  19. I know its just my paranoia, but would have loved to see them do a fake and pass for field goal range and another first
  20. If this is accurate, then it was an incredible move. We save money this year and next year against the cap and are then rid of its effects. Better to pay a price one year than have this fester
  21. Another advantage to beating Oakland would be that they play Miami next Sunday night and would be incredibly desperate and motivated if they lose to us this Sunday.
  22. Atlanta losing could work out for us. They are going to be desperate for a win next week against NE. I think they just took Buf and Miami for granted.
  23. Bradham had an incredible tackle there
  24. I dont know, I kind of dig it. So long as he can back it up, let him have fun.
  25. Clay is questionable to return. That is good news for us long term, right? Must not be a terrible injury. Need him after the bye, etc.
