Years ago, back when TV was still all analog signals, I was playing around with the auto-program on my parents TV, because sometimes we could pick up Rochester stations, and picked up a station that was advertising Hurricane Shutters. Since we lived in Central New York this was interesting. Eventually they played a station break with their city/call letters, it was a station out of Florida. Not completely clear signal, very fuzzy, but still viewable.

Note to self: If Royale offers you popcorn, do not take any. My grandfather built his own descrambler (he worked in the TV industry as a station engineer) and one of these is what he used for tuning in the channels.

I was at a surprise birthday party yesterday. One of my nieces, about 15, was given the task of watching out the window for the arrival of the guest of honor.
