  1. I have to give Nix props for seeing that Glen could be a superior tackle when all the experts were saying he was a guard. He's still learning, but he is a beast. I was very impressed with his downfield blocking. The o-line, if they can stay healthy, is going to make itself known.
  2. I agree it did not affect the outcome of the game. I was just surprised. I'd like to see the actual reply from the broadcast, as it looked pretty clear there.
  3. Here's the video. Look at the final replay. http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/0ap1000000062671/Dwayne-Bowe-scores-again
  4. It certainly looked to me that Bowe's second foot came down clearly and unequivocally out of bounds. I thought all TDs were reviewed. Why wasn't this one reversed?
  5. This makes sense to me. The Bills are going to have to move up to get a blue chip QB prospect, and then hope to hell he isn't Jamarcus Russell or Vinde Young one of the other "can't miss" QB prospects who fail to work out. It will be a big risk, but I agree that the lack of a first rate QB is holding this team back.
  6. Exactly: I did not see the defense play any worse in the final six minutes than they had the entire game. They never stopped the Jets before then; why should they be able to after then?
  7. "...go for the 3 & out"? When did the Bills make the Jets go 3 & out in teh game? Oh, that's right . . . NEVER. Fitz stank in this game, but the defense was beyond belief bad. That was the biggest problem, to me.
  8. I figured I'd say McLovin and I'd be the only one, but apparently quite a few of you feel similarly.
  9. This. All you "run the ball" fanatics think this o-line is the 1993 Redskins hogs and are vastly mistaken. The reason the Bill have run so well is BECAUSE of the spread. Those holes are not going to be there if the Bills try to grind it out in a closed formation. Proof of this is that, when the Bills are in short yardage and try to go power running, they tend to get stuffed at the LOS.
  10. He meant "vaunted" but he doesn't know English.
  11. You keep saying they could ahve gone into the locker room with the lead. They didn't HAVE the lead. They were tied 7-7.
  12. Yeah, that must be it.
  13. I know that. That's why I asked him about Mario Williams, who also played for NC State. As did Jim Ritcher, and a number of other quality players for the Bills and other teams. What's the point? That McCargo was a bust? Thanks for the update.
  14. Peachy. I guess I don't understand what the snark about the van with flat tires was about. But go with God.
  15. Feeling hostile, are we?
  16. Do you feel that way about Mario Williams?
  17. If it draws a penalty, it's a problem. You may think the refs are being too strict, but he drew three penalties last season for celebrating. It's a problem.
  18. I teach at NC State, and yesterday while on campus I saw a car with a Bills sticker of the charging buffalo, but in the banner trailing from its horns was written "11--TJ" Graham was a big favorite here. If only we could have drafted Russell Wilson as well, Buffalo would have been NC State North.
  19. Well, if madtowntobuffalo was using a bowling ball and you used marbles, it's no wonder you got crushed.
  20. You are sarcasm impaired. SJBF was making fun of such negative fans.
  21. Why do fools fall in love?
  22. You said "make or beak." To me that means whose performance is most crucial to the success of the team--the ones who, if they play badly or well, have a disproportionate effect on the record. And "make or break" means that their ability to play at a high level is under question. So, given that, the answer is: 1-7 Fitz If Fitz plays the way he did in the second half of the season, then the team will be hard pressed to win even half of their games. After Fitz come whoever's playing left tackle, whoever's playing #2 receiver, and whoever's playing linebacker. And Gailey, who is definitely on the hot seat.
  23. I stand corrected as well. Unforced error.
  24. Regardless of the past, we'll see how it plays out. He has the opportunity if he has the skills and desire. The team is eager to solidify a number 2 receiver, and nobody owns the job right now. I hope someone grabs it and makes us stop arguing about preseason performances. That's what Stevie did--he was talked up by some and talked down by others for a couple of seasons based on his training camp performance. Then he got his shot and he took it.
