  1. It's amazing that nobody before me has ever noticed the similarity between WFT and WTF.
  2. All you guys complaining about her are tiresome. Someone in this thread said she has a nasal voice. You may not like her voice, but it is not a nasal voice. Get a grip.
  3. Onion. My wife hates olives. So I guess it was a Gibson.
  4. Never heard of Henry Knox. But I do remember the label on the bottle was red, white, and blue--though it had no image of or reference to the Bills.
  5. I had a dream in which my wife and I were at a bar. My wife ordered a martini and specified that she wanted it made with the best gin they had. So the bartender made it for her using Dawson Knox gin. I remember thinking (in the dream) that he ought to be concentrating on his football career and not on his distillery.
  6. That Ravens fan was a complete d**k. Not that it justifies what Mahomes' brother did.
  7. Wow. I would not have expected a response like this to what I considered a rather innocuous post. You seem to think I was crapping all over the Bills' effort. That certainly was not my impression of what I was saying. If you want another version of what I intended, let's say "I wish the passing offense had looked more in synch. The Bills defense played great. The rushing attack was much better than we have seen for a while. I wish Josh had looked better but I think he will in future." I did not get to see the game live, but I knew the final score was 35-0 before I watched it, and was a bit surprised that in the actual game play it was not one of Allen's lights-out performances. I'm surprised at you taking such umbrage at what I wrote since you as a person don't seem to me to lose your temper very often. In general I have found you to be one of the most sane of the posters on this board, and if you will go back you will see that 90% of the time I agree with your comments.
  8. I haven't had time to read all the comments, but the score was not indicative of the teams' play in the game. It felt more like a 24-17 Bills win. I was heartened to see the Bills defense play so well. Liked seeing the hard running form Singletary and Moss (except for the fumbles). As many have said, the offense, and in particular Josh Allen, are not totally in synch. A little woried about Allen, but not pushing any panic buttons. If Allen gets back his 2020 form, and the defense maintains this level, this team will be a juggernaut.
  9. His physics was argle-bargle. He somehow got the speed of light into the equation for momentum. It was actually pretty funny, if you know any physics.
  10. Not that the CBS commentators are geniuses but the Fox crew are a bunch of guffawing idiots. Just watching them lowers your IQ by thirty points.
  11. Why can't he play linebacker as well as QB? Nobody likes Edmonds anyway, right? And cornerback, too! At the same time! That will really confuse the opponent's offense!
  12. This is such a lousy assessment of who Josh Allen is and has shown himself to be that it calls into question all your other judgments. Seriously. He played poorly, undeniably. But your take on his character is purblind.
  13. If elite QBs find a way to win, does that mean Rodgers is not elite? The Packers were playing the Saints on a neutral field after the Saints could not even practice in their own facility, starting a QB (Winston) who warmed the bench last season. Even elite QBs crap the bed sometimes. Yes, Allen had a poor game, and the Bills offense as a whole was out of synch. The o-line got beaten up. Against this same Steeler team (which was 10-1 at the time) last year, Allen played an excellent game. I don't think yesterday's result tells us anything dispositive about Allen or the Bills.
  14. Aaron Rodgers yesterday: 15/28, 133 yards, 0 TD, 2 Int, Passer Rating of 36.8 I would not draw conclusions from one game.
  15. The Steelers were the more physical team, especially in defending passes. The Bills' receivers got little room, and when they did catch the pass they were tackled immediately. The Steelers also finished their tackles brutally. On a couple of the tackles of Diggs I wondered that he was able to stand up afterwards. The Bills got punched in the mouth by the Steelers defense, just as they did in the first half of their game last season.
  16. Wake-up call. Pittsburgh's defense was punishing the Bills offense, as they did in first half of the game last year. Given who McDermott is, I expect the Bills to play much better against the Dolphins. He will use this, as he used the Arizona game last year, to set them up for the rest of the season. It may seem stupid to say this, but the Bills are still a work in progress. They will learn from this and right the ship.
  17. A lot of us already are. Adolescent taunting and a feeling of "we're better than you" is a fundamental American trait. Humility is not easy.
  18. This was far from Norwood's only bad game. He was not a good kicker for a long time.
  19. I've considered this as one of the team's Achilles' Heels. They are well coached and intelligently put together, but this (to me) crazy individualism could sink the season, depending on who the unvaccinated players are and the luck of the draw.
  20. The Hollister cut is the one that mystifies me the most. But what do I know?
  21. Every word you wrote here applies to me, too. The only thing I might add is that, much as I hope they will win a Super Bowl, in the end many other things in my life are more important, and whatever my life ends up meaning it won't be changed if they win one or not. Go Bills!
  22. The 2010 Chargers led the league in offense and defense and yet missed the playoffs because their special teams were so abominable. They allowed three kickoff returns for touchdowns, one punt return touchdown, and four blocked punts and finished 9-7..
  23. Very reasonable. Your roster does seem thin at cornerback, though. Tough decisions on the last few men to make the roster.
