  1. Can't have enough good offensive linemen. If he doesn't cost more than a mid round pick, i say... why not?
  2. Russ Brandon is really growing on me. He sounds very intelligent, and has made some good moves the last few years.
  3. They offered the largest contract in Bills history to Peters... wow. Evans is making $9 million a year, so it has to be more than that.
  4. It helps that we drafted two very smart players. Wonderlic scores: Levitre- 36 Wood- 29 I don't think they will have as much trouble as the average rookie.

  6. Youboty > Simpson by far.
  7. One of the overlooked elements of a no-huddle offense is a sure-handed tight end. The Bills released the droptastic Robert Royal and drafted Shawn Nelson out of Southern Miss in the fourth round. Nelson is balanced, but known more for his catching ability than his blocking. "Where the no-huddle is most effective is if you got a tight end that can step out a few yards and be a quick receiver and you've got a running back who can cheat out to the weak side and be a quick receiver out of the backfield," Wyche said. "You don't have to substitute to get four wide receivers. You can get your third and fourth receiver from your tight end or your backs. That's when you really optimize your offense."
  8. Hangartner is probably the smartest player we've ever had, so i think he would make the right line call. Hangartner will lead, the rest will follow. In fact, they probably signed him over the other FA centers because of his ability to run the no huddle.
  9. I find it hard to believe that they hired an assistant GM/director of college/pro scouting from one of the most successful NFL teams just to be a scout. That's a major demotion.
  10. Wow, i had no idea that Hangartner got the highest score on the wonderlic for an offensive lineman, ever.... (47) He's just the kind of guy i would want doing the line calls.
  11. Is Buddy Nix among the inner circle? I would find it hard to believe that a man of his talents is not.
  12. Every team goes into every season with holes. Look at the Steeler's Offensive Line.
  13. agreed, but no pictures in signatures.
  14. I know Chris's son (QB) was signed by an NFL team.
  15. We have one of the best talent evaluators working in our war room. I'm not surprised.
  16. The Bills have Buddy Nix, so we should be picking up some damn good talent in the next few drafts. He basically built the chargers.
  17. Not to doubt you Buftex, but the media must have been alerted of this. I would think that they are holding off on reporting about it.
  18. She was the only female scout in the NFL.
  19. Tebow in the first round? ahahahaahahahahah
  20. For the most part, every NFL team has the same plays in their playbook.
  21. That's true, but my point is that 4000 yards isn't really an achievement anymore. In fact, I'd say Kelly would have thrown for over 4000 yards multiple times if he played today. The bandit was acting like it was some huge thing.
  22. search function
  23. We have one of the best WR corps in the NFL, and i don't think its a stretch to say that if Edwards stays healthy he could throw for 4000 yards. PS: What does it tell you that 6 QBs are doing what Jim Kelly never did in his career?
  24. Butler will probably move to RT. It was his college position, and it would put the best players possible on the field.
