  1. Maybe because NFL scouts and GMs salivate over Evans on a continual basis? Plus, T.O. is a lock for 80 catches 1000 yards. Both are top 20 receivers.
  2. I'll pass on Gruden. He will want to install some experimental spread offense that will fall on its face in the NFL.
  3. He has a right to use it because his great-great-great grandparents were enslaved, and his grandparents were discriminated against? It's like saying he's eligible for reparations because of his ancestors were enslaved. And guess what? I could care less if I'm allowed to say the N word or not, but i find "white guilt" completely hilarious.
  4. It's amazing how ridiculous the PC machine is. http://www.philly.com/philly/wires/ap/news...criminated.html
  5. Is that why some 17 year old black kid from Detroit can use it?
  6. We have a #2 receiver? Last i checked we had two #1s.
  7. Would Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton be throwing a tantrum if there was a "buy white experiment"?
  8. The options are: $1 billion to keep the team in Buffalo $3+ billion to move them to Toronto $2.5+ billion to move them to LA Not to mention the interest rate the owner gets will be outrageously high.
  9. Because that is what it will cost to move the Bills to Toronto. It would cost more than $2 billion to move anywhere else.
  10. PTR, Whats the interest payment on $3 billion?
  11. Where will the Bills go, Toronto? It would cost around $3 billion to move the team there. LA? The Bills aren't even in the running to go there.
  12. The first one is completely true.
  13. Stats are invaluable to anyone's ability to analyze the pro-game. You can quantify many of the things that players do, and through the compilation of these you can gauge how good a player is. One individual stat may lie, but the probability that a multitude of them do is very slim. All things considered, stats are just another tool that can be effectively used to evaluate players.
  14. Some of his stats are really good. Such as YPA and targets for receivers and corners.
  15. Peters cost us the Jets game.
  16. Rivers is one of the best QBs in the NFL, but any comparison is extremely premature.
  17. Well, chances are that 6 new teams (in each conference) will make the playoffs this year. So, evaluating our schedule is pretty pointless, since a lot of the teams we thought were strong will be doodoo (and vice verse).
  18. They used it on Clements, and Cassel's salary is $14.65 million.
  19. Ron Paul didn't pull votes from McCain, but he had many supporters that ended up voting for Obama. There is a large segment of people that would prefer libertarian-conservatism, but would never vote for McCain because they believed he was a continuation of Bush. To put things simply, they would rather have Obama than McCain, but have very conservative economic ideas. This is because both are relatively pro-big government/spending. It's no secret that there is a tremendous amount of conservatism among the youth on the internet, and the country as a whole. However, the next generation of voters are much more liberal on issues such as gay marriage and abortion, but a lot are very fiscally conservative. That is the direction that political opinions are heading, and that is the way that the party must go. The Republican stance on social issues is quickly becoming less and less prevalent among the population, however the disgust with the trillion dollar deficits is growing exponentially. The Republican party must take on more libertarian ideas if it wants to return to power.
  20. 3500 should be ridiculously easy to achieve. If you assume Evans and T.O. get their 1000 yards, Josh Reed gets his 600, then that's only 900 between the other receivers, TEs, and RBs. Besides, points come from the passing game.
  21. Pretty much. Anything less would be terrible. 3500 yards is 220 a game.... while 3051 is 191. If we aren't throwing close to 220 yards a game with our loaded receiving corps... Well, then something is wrong.
  22. They aren't really close. The difference is about 8 QB rating points, and would you say the original numbers are pretty damn close to: 67.5% completion 4000 yards 21 tds 6 INTs 8.0 YPA? They are the same distance apart. JP's numbers are the bottom end of the spectrum.
  23. That's embarrassing.
  24. People act as if the Republican party needs to go towards the center, however it needs to go farther to the right. There is a very significant amount of people that believe that the party has drifted too far towards the things it should oppose (big government). This is why a guy like Ron Paul can be the darling of half the internet.
  25. Not really 62.5% completion 3051 yards 19 TDs 14 INTs 7.1 YPA
