  1. Yes, your sarcasm meter is indeed broken.
  2. Not bad for only 1 year as a starter.
  3. Schools are ridiculously over funded already.
  4. Yes, and white males make better decisions because they are less biased than minorities.
  5. You understand nothing of the US judicial system then.
  6. And if i said my experience as a white male made me less biased than a minority, wouldn't i be lambasted as racist? Of course i would.
  7. How do you define a better judge? better decisions... so she did say latinos are better judges than white males. PS: i wasn't serious, i was illustrating my point.
  8. I wasn't serious, you twit. Ever notice how justice is wearing a blind fold? Yeah, it's not about empathy.. it's about applying the constitution.
  9. She is going to drown in her own sh--. I really doubt she gets confirmed.
  10. No, it doesn't matter. Judges don't make policy, and that is fundamental to the establishment of the judicial branch. I think white people make better judges because they aren't as biased as latinos.
  11. So you don't mind that she is racist?
  12. she "has the balls" to admit that latinos make better judges than white males? I think white males make better decisions than latinos because of our richness of experience.
  13. Did you seriously call reversing Roe v Wade activism? The original decision was activism. There is STRONG judicial precedent for the government to have legal authority over our bodies. I agree that abortion should be legal, but it isn't a "right".
  14. Are you dumb? She is saying that latinos have more richness of experience than white people, and therefore they make better judges.
  15. She said latinos are better judges than white males. What isn't racist about that?
  16. The belief that latinos are better decision makers than white people is nothing?
  17. I'm a wacko for exposing her racism? Do we really need a justice that thinks latinos make better decisions than white people?
  18. "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion [as a judge] than a white male who hasn't lived that life." -- Judge Sonia Sotomayor, in her Judge Mario G. Olmos Law and Cultural Diversity Lecture at the University of California (Berkeley) School of Law in 2001 http://www.nationaljournal.com/njmagazine/...090523_2724.php

  20. She's not left wacko? What do you call the belief that judges should make policy?
  21. Do you believe that judges should make law? Sotomayor does.
  22. Name me a running QB that is good in the NFL. PS: my post was knocking college stats. They are meaningless, and the things i listed earlier are far more important than stats. It's why Graham Harrell wasn't drafted.
