  1. Can you not read? I said NE's last few drafts have sucked, and that is true. Their earlier drafts were very good. Our last few drafts have been much better than the Patriots, and that cannot be debated. The whole point is that the Patriots cannot afford to let their good FAs go, since they have not reloaded via the draft. The fact is that the Pats have holes on defense, and your draft can't be considered good if your players don't even make the team. The draft picks the Pats cut are not landing on other teams starting rosters, either. We may not be a very good team, but a lot of the players we've drafted in the last few years could start on the Pats. Also, when did i say anything about Dimitroff and Pioli?
  2. Their last few drafts haven't produced much of anything. Your point would be valid if their players, once released, were starters on lesser teams... but that hasn't happened. The Pats need a lot of help on defense, but the players they have drafted (Meriweather) haven't been very good. To say that the patriots have had a good last few drafts is completely retarded, and the only way the "they are too good for their rookies to make the team" argument works is if they have no holes. It's obvious the Pats need help, or they wouldn't have an abysmal 3rd down defense, or be average at sacking the QB. The Patriots have been historically good drafters, but the last few years have sucked for them. They will need to retain their FAs because of that.
  3. Are you really this stupid? 1 good players among 25 bad ones?
  4. not as good as http://www.jaycutler.com/
  5. Agreed, not to mention the patriots have been stinking up the draft the last few years.
  6. Whoa, tomorrow? Didn't know the season premiere was so soon. I'll be watching.
  7. Like Whitner tackling someone in the end zone?
  8. Actually, he was drafted in the 5th round (164th overall).
  9. Well, 3 of the Patriots starting O-lineman were drafted in the first 3 rounds. Only one, Stephen Neal, was taken after the 5th round (undrafted).
  10. Sorry, but the Rogers group doesn't have the money to move a franchise to Toronto. They would have to come up with around $3 billion. They would pay $1 billion for the team, $1+ billion for a stadium, a gigantic relocation fee, and then the conversion from Canadian to US. The NFL doesn't allow corporate ownership, so all this money would have to be borrowed or come out of someone's pockets.
  11. Terrorism? Air France bomb threats: http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:rogFh...mp;client=opera
  12. Steve Young and John Elway were not running QBs. They were pocket passers who could run.
  13. When will NFL GMs get that running QBs can't make it in the NFL?
  14. You have what we call "selective memory". If the Bills give up the big 3rd down 1 out of 3 times, you view it as the majority of the time. If the Bills stop a team, and then the offense does nothing (giving the ball back to the opponent) you forget that they made the previous clutch stop.
  15. 9th at 36.1% down about 9% from the previous year. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?s...2&year=2008
  16. What are you, retarded? The Bills were top 10 in 3rd down defense.
  17. It's actually been statistically proven that the prevent defense works.
  18. Still 5 more points a game than the previous year.
  19. Nice. ESPN doesn't even have spell check.
  20. Honestly, if you try to rob someone at gun point... you forfeit your life. I have no problem with the guy shooting him again. Maybe people would think twice about sticking up places if they knew the owner had free reign to shoot them. If some guy stuck a gun in my face, i would shoot him until my mag was empty.
  21. better than 30th like the year before. Yes, it was. We were 14th in ppg, and 9th in 3rd down %.
  22. Yes, Walker will be quaking in his boots when he faces these guys. I'm sure their combined 19.5 sacks scare him shitless.
  23. Our offense vastly improved last year, there is no doubting that.
  24. We scored 21 ppg last year, which is by far our best since 2004. It is also 5 more per game than 2007.
