If I remember correctly, OJ's chase happened while an NBA playoff game was on, so if they could wait until game 7 tomorrow night that would be great.

Finally posted the video. Sorry for the shaky camera in spots. I was trying to enjoy the view and film at the same time.

It was tiny. That was the show I went to. Tiny bar that was maybe half full. I stood against the back wall and was no more than 20 feet from the stage, which was at floor level. I knew it was on Grant Street but for the life of me could not remember the name. The owner of Home of the Hits on Elmwood self promoted that show. I still remember her telling me, "if you want to see The Replacements on me, here's your one and only chance". Admission was no more than $5.

I feel safer already.

The bus took us to our lodge. We did do a separate excursion into the park the next day on a different bus. We went to mile marker 53 (9 hour roundtrip) and saw the big 4 (Brown Bear, Moose, Caribou, Sheep) along with other wildlife. Also great views of the mountain on another clear day. I took a ton of photos that came out pretty great.

We got off the ship in Whittier and took the train 9 hours north to Denali Park. Made our way back via bus with a stop at another lodge near Denali (the mountain). Just amazing scenery.

Back from Alaska. The whale watching in Juneau was great. The highlight was observing a pod of 8 Orcas for 30-45 minutes at close range. Just amazing. I actually took a pretty good video of it and will try to post it on youtube and link it here in the next few days. The cruise and land tour lived up to the hype, as the wildlife, glaciers and mountain ranges provided one thrill after another. And to top it off, the weather was uncharacteristically dry and warm for this time of year. P.S. -- Jim in Anchorage, we found your city to be a little gem. The people were very friendly and very proud of their little corner of the world. We hope to return someday.

went whale watching in Monterey a couple of years back. Saw a couple of greys from a great distance as the seas were pretty rough that day. Swells way over the top of the boat. Lots of hurling (thankfully not from me or my wife). Hoping for better luck up in Alaska next week. Leaving Friday for a cruise and land tour which includes a whale watching excursion in Juneau. Can't wait.

It's easy to forget, but when the Bills are even remotely interesting, this place is a lot of fun. Last few years, I hang out mostly in OTW. Either way, I feel very indebted to Scott for running a first rate board.
