Anti-Gay Laws are based on religious freedom
Azalin replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Whether or not the law is needed isn't my point. My only point is that only someone like you would call legislation intended to bolster freedom of religion and freedom of association a bad thing. -

Speaking out against the United States isn't treason, in fact it's protected freedom of speech, just like talking trash about a religion is protected speech. You apparently believe your religion to have greater weight than the laws of the land, and you call us self-righteous? -
What's that? You want a falafel?

Someone needs to give this guy a Kebab.

Apparently the two sentences I posted are too much for you to intellectualize, not that anyone's surprised. -
Out of touch....Disingenuous...what difference, at this point, does it make?

Only someone as completely moronic as you would call support for freedom of association and freedom of religion an attack on liberty. News flash, Bozo - diversity refers to more than just skin color, you monosyllabic, boneheaded ape. -

You believe death is an acceptable fate for those who speak out against Islam after leaving the faith? -
My friend, your response is most appreciated. I can understand how our Polish friends mistrust the United States. While those of us in the diplomatic corps are without opinion on the subject, there are a significant number of Americans who feel that the current administration are woefully inept at matters of policy, both home and abroad, and that the Polish people may be better off having their interests represented by a lobotomized earthworm. However, NATO is still willing to represent the Polish people, at least until the matter of your payment, which will be handled by Germany, has been completed.
-
Since they seem to have been conveniently omitted from this dialogue, NATO will speak for them. In other words, until they are otherwise represented, me. Like I said, until they are otherwise represented, I will speak on Poland's behalf. Nice move though, Nigeria.

While the United States stands solidly with our Russian friends during this time of crisis, we feel that at this point in time, any charges of involvement leveled at the people of Poland should be allowed to be addressed by Polish officials, through their diplomatic corps. With respect to Russia's list of demands on the Polish government, as a freely elected democratic society, the rights of sovereignty ,freedom of association, and the necessity of a free press are paramount, and should be given greater weight than requests from outside agencies. Therefore, the United States proposes a UN-led inquiry to be conducted with cooperation from Polish officials, rendering Russian demands 1 through 6, and 9 & 10 unnecessary. With regard to item 7, the United States enthusiastically supports this initiative, and is willing to provide accommodations for both individuals at our facility in Guantanamo Bay.

Your kind words are most appreciated, and as an act of gratitude on our part we will decrease our nuclear capability an additional 10%, yielding the excess plutonium as a supplement to our prior agreement.
-
No, we haven't forgotten. Our anti-video hashtag campaign is still in its organizational phase, but is scheduled to be deployed as part of a three point plan, which includes a proposed increase in Vodka imports, and the delivery of nine F-22 Raptors to HAMAS.

The United States of America condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the rogue entities that perpetrated this murderous act, and stands in solidarity with the Russian people in their time of grief and unimaginable loss. As a show of faith to both the Russian people and their leaders, the United States has agreed to reduce it's nuclear arsenal by a full 28% by year's end, with the enriched plutonium taken from the disarmed missiles and handed over to the Iranian people to aid them in advancing their capability to produce functional nuclear power plants. In addition, the United States will increase both Borscht and Nesting Doll imports, while simultaneously launching an aggressive campaign to maintain the derogatory status of the term 'Polak'. Both Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton have been granted Ambassador status and are being deployed to Moscow, where they will be organizing the Million Man Occupation of Red Square, protesting the lack of African-Russians in governmental positions of significance. We are certain that our meaningless gestures of support for the Russians people, our willingness to advance Iranian nuclear technology, our support of Polish pride, and our plan to bring the democratic principle of protest to the post-Soviet era, will combine to form an effective tool in both inducing and maintaining alarmingly high blood pressure for all concerned.

You don't get much of anything, do you? And you say the same thing to anyone who either disagrees with you or makes fun of you, which is just about everyone. But by all means, keep posting. You apparently have no idea how entertaining you are.

I think it would probably look a little more like this: "The Bills beat the Patriots at the end of last season." "No, they didn't! The Pats won! They were the better team!" "But the score was 17-9, Bills." "Stop obfuscating with specifics! The Pats won, you poop head!" They're similar in that they are significantly more intelligent than you.
-
I like the part about 'obfuscating with concrete and specific examples'.....I've never heard anyone accused of muddying the waters with specifics before. It's also amusing that he thinks that the moon is a planet. The man is a virtual non-sequitur machine.

Yeah, Vai is a monster. I first saw him performing with Zappa at either the Century Theater or Shea's - I can't remember which venue it was - back in '80 or '81. I saw him again with David Lee Roth in North Carolina, and twice here in town since moving to Austin. At one of the Austin shows, Eric Johnson joined Vai on stage. Johnson is very popular here, being a local boy. I've never met him, but I'm bound to sooner or later, since he apparently hangs out just about everywhere I do, but always seems to leave about 10 minutes before I arrive. My all-time favorite guitarist - check out the solo at 2:41

That's exactly the kind of thing I was hoping people would post. I'm not familiar with them at all, and as I was listening I thought 'pretty good, loose groove, tight band' and then the guitar came out of nowhere - very impressive! You don't often see any extended solos on a mini-moog nowadays, either.

It's your complete cluelessness that makes you so entertaining.
