  1. And you said you didn't ever read my drivel. But please, keep posting. Your persistence is entertaining, and your insults are so lame that they're hysterical.
  2. And he just keeps on posting. It's like watching an auto accident in slow motion.

  4. So one would hope, but little surprises me anymore.
  5. from the article: "I had an abortion at Planned Parenthood last year and it was a great experience," Bonow, who lives in Seattle, told AFP. A great experience?! That's one of the most repugnant statements I've ever read. Nothing like a testimonial from a satisfied customer.
  6. Once again, you said it.
  7. Give it a rest, for crying out loud. The guy got creamed in the media for raising the price so high, and now he's responding by lowering the price. He may well be a POS as a person, but what he's doing, while I think it's immoral, isn't illegal. Why not wait and see what they set as a price before dismissing the price reduction?
  8. Frightening and depressing.

  10. Actually, Phyllis Coates played Lois Lane during the show's first season ( I liked her in the role more than I did Ms Neill ) and is still alive at 88. I believe you're correct - my how time flies, eh?
  11. That's pretty much my feelings on AGW too. The politicization of the issue has completely poisoned the well. Your use of the word 'dogma' is spot on.
  12. That's awesome that there's at least one Lovecraft nerd working at NASA. He's probably the only one in the office that refers to Pluto as 'Yuggoth'.
  13. Same thing with Toni Iommi. He played a strat flipped lefty just like Hendrix did on the first Black Sabbath album. He broke it during the recording sessions and couldn't afford a new one, so he finished the album using his SG and stuck with it afterward.
  14. My first impressions of this were 'how friggin' stupid can you get?' and 'par for the course'.
  15. This would apply to me as well. I'm familiar with all the 'proper' studio recordings, but the only of the original post-mortem albums (I count War Heroes as a 'proper' studio album even though it was released after his death) I've listened to is Crash Landing, which I wasn't too impressed with. This kind of relates to what I mentioned earlier about his family fighting for the rights to control his music - apparently they've been involved in some pretty good post-mortems of his. I just don't know much in detail about them, though.
  16. All we need now is a 'stamp my feet' emoji.
  17. Every body involved in this conversation, including you, has posted a link containing information proving you wrong. I don't know if anyone is actually angry with you, but I'm getting pretty tired of your childish tactic of simply denying the stupid sh#t you say over and over simply to get a rise out of people. Most people grow out of that phase by the time they're 16 or so. When can we expect the same from you?
  18. All those details are nothing but obfuscation.
  19. I've found that 'yo - d#ckface' gets folk's attention as well.
  20. I believe there was a lot of legal wrangling over the rights to his music with record labels, lawyers, etc, and I'm pretty sure that she - or another female member of his family, fought pretty hard on Al Hendrix's behalf in obtaining control over Jimi's material. But to think that his music wouldn't be played over & over for generations after his death is pretty ridiculous.
  21. Well, if they think my attempt at being reasonable is oppressive, just wait until they hear my response to that.
  22. He's probably had more influence on those that came after than anyone else since. I was in my 2nd year of lessons when he died - it took me another four years before I could even try to play any of his material. RIP http://youtu.be/gdya-VDdBiA
  23. Why can't reasonable people just fight back with the same logic? "Excuse me, but I am a male, and I would appreciate it if you would acknowledge me as such". It would do them good to be the ones to suffer a little smug superiority for a change.
  24. You mean he may be one of the proverbial infinite number of chimpanzees pounding away at an infinite number of typewriters that will eventually blunder out the complete works of Shakespeare? Wouldn't that require him to have a working knowledge of how to peel a banana?
