  1. Just a reminder that we'll be back on IRC to watch the Bills clip the Eagles' wings! (I hope...)
  2. Very creepy show, but not scary (yet?). Just disturbing... In a good way! The neighbor is REALLY creepy -- and I noticed that she stole a piece of silverware when she first visited the family.
  3. See, here I thought it was because he doesn't know how to play a complete game.
  4. If he was so great, why did he lose every time....?
  5. Where's Buddy the Wonder Dog? He did a great job with the Star Wars Convention - but at least a lot of SW fans have high paying jobs. I want to see Buddy go to Occupy Wall Street and have some fun!!!
  6. From my Buffalo Bills daily calendar today: October 5th: While a sophomore at San Lorenzo valley High School in California in the Early 2000s, Bills guard Andy Levitre's team lost to a Los Gatos high school team quarterbacked by Trent Edwards.
  7. Actually, Buffalo was only a 2.5 point favorite...
  8. I think that's the point though -- everyone DID read the directions. And nowhere did they say "Make sure you read the sign on the orphanage table." The clue said to go earn 30,000 Indonesian Rupees (worth less than $4 for James benefit ), and to give that to the orphanage, right? If the clue itself said to give all of the money on you to the orphanage, then great. But I don't believe it did.
  9. No, it wasn't under the tablecloth, but there were a couple of times that it was perpendicular to the table. Has there ever been a time in the Race where a sign on a table over-rode what the actual clue said...? I think when 9 of 11 teams make the exact same mistake, it's a problem with the game and not the players.
  10. See, I disagree. I thought it was dumb. Just a random sign sitting on a table? The clue says to give your money to the orphanage, but a random sign on a table that was MOVING all the time is supposed to be paid attention to? Heck, one time a team went up, the sign was SIDEWAYS. I don't think that was right, personally, although I don't know if it affected who would've been eliminated or not - I didn't pay close enough attention.
  11. Says the guy who posts on a football message board...
  12. Hit late? Huh? I didn't see any flags...
  13. I would've rather lost next week though.... 4-1, 4-0 in the AFC is pretty nice. But oh well, we'll see what happens!
  14. We could have Reggie White and Bruce Smith on the line, and we still wouldn't get any pressure if teams are continued to allowed to hold us on pretty much every play.
  15. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't believe NFL games are fixed, necessarily. I DO think that the league "nudges" games one way or another to help make their stories. Case in point, the "Patriots" just so happen to have every call go their way when the country needs to be most "Patriotic" after 9/11. Uh huh... I just think they like to push various storylines.
  16. He broke up a play in the endzone - on a guy that he wasn't even covering.
  17. First, check this thread: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/134541-join-us-in-irc-for-pbp-and-commentary/ The IRC server is irc.webmaster.com, the port is 6667, and the channel is #gobuffalo Or you can use the website. Hope that helps!
  18. Reminder -- Bills vs Bengals in the IRC chatroom! (this isn't the one at the top of TSW). Come visit!
  19. It was ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.
  20. Eh, I ate at the Grand Lux in both the Venetian and the Pallazo, and while both were good, neither knocked my socks off.
  21. I agree that it's dumb when CBS had the initial challenge and said "There's 12 groups - only the first 11 who solve this problem get to keep going," so a team gets eliminated like 20 minutes (real time) into the race. But the team that finishes last on the first leg STILL got to experience the first leg, including flying to a different country and doing those challenges. Why should they get to stay? If you want them to have more of an experience, then why are they kicking players off of Survivor after only 3 days? Same thing.
  22. Whitner wouldn't have. He's not the best in coverage, but nobody can say he didn't have heart on this team.
  23. There's a pirate battle at Treasure Island (sorry, TI). I didn't get to see it last time I was there because it was too windy.
