  1. You mean besides running over a traffic officer, yelling at a team sponsor on a plane trip back to Minnesota, leaving a game before it was over, and squirting an official during a game? TO may be a jerk, but he's all talk, no action. CW
  2. Yeah, but inactive players still get paid so I doubt TO cares.
  3. I was actually thinking about that when the announcers said everyone was gone. I doubt they would've run up the score though. Heck, if the other teams' QB is on defense, isn't that a great reason to go for 2 - to nail the QB on the play? You can do whatever you want to him on the play - including taking a 15 yard penalty if you wanted. CW
  4. Doesn't mean it wasn't tripping. However, I do think there shoould've been offsetting penalties on the play. CW
  5. For those who didn't see it - with 5 seconds left, no TOs, ball on the 1, the Chiefs ran the ball up the gut for a TD instead of kicking for a tie. If he got stuffed, the game would've been over and they would've lost. Unfortunately, the Chiefs didn't cover the spread. It was 4.5, they won by 4 CW
  6. The Chargers hold on and deny the Jets. 53 seconds left, Jets with no TOs, game should be over. CW
  7. It's a board filter, just like when the S-word used to change to stevestojan. CW
  8. Good thing our children don't depend on this one...
  9. Not putting a ton of thought into this, but these five are definately top tier IMHO: San Diego Kansas City Dallas Pittsburgh Philly Probably some that are better that I'm missing. CW
  10. There's a big difference between Ty Law and Eddie Robinson too. CW
  11. Well, maybe not quite as bad -- he was juked by LT. It was pretty impressive though.
  12. Anyone want to go in the chat room to talk about the early games? There's three very important games going on - Dolphins/Falcons (Atlanta just fumbled on the goalline...), Jets/Chargers and Raiders/Chiefs. All three are in HD CW
  13. That'll be back-to-back Bills games in HD. Sweet! And if we're really really lucky, I wonder if we'll get the Bills/Chargers game in HD the following week... EDIT: The week afte the Chargers game is home vs the Panthers; since that game will be on Fox, it's yet another HD game! CW
  14. You're allowed to watch Office Space. That fits pretty well (he's not married, but you havn't been married your whole life either... ). CW
  15. I (literally) just finished winning FEAR. Awesome game, great ending. I played it at 1152x864 (step up from 1024x768 - I used that res for the first half of the game before bumping it up). At 1152x864 it looked awesome and I ran full on all detail settings (except water, which I turned down to medium mainly because I thought it looked more realistic that way). Hopefully I'll get Civ4 tomorrow -- good timing I guess. CW
  16. The Eagles suspended TO for today http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/foot...e.ap/index.html CW
  17. Yup, been playing that for a week or two - it's pretty awesome I've jumped several times (once when I was sneaking around and the phone rang in real life... D'oh ). Awesome game. CW
  18. So I'm assuming you clicked on the link to send your representatives a message? CW
  19. If my machine can't handle it, then I don't think anybody can. I have a dual Opteron 246, 2G of RAM, and a GeForce 6800GT video card. If I can play HalfLife2 at full rez, I sure the hell better be able to play Civ IV CW
  20. Amazon dropped the ball, so I'm STILL waiting for my pre-order to come in! ARGH! Maybe I"ll get it today. More than likely, not until Monday (my coworker preordered it from Amazon after I did, and he's had his for days... Not that I'm jealous or anything). CW
  21. The lawyers for the MPAA and RIAA sure are persistant. The broadcast flag has been shot down at least three times, yet they're trying to bring it back yet again. How long before they're told to go away? Anyway, for those so inclinded, there's a form you can fill out that sends a letter to your politicians. You'll usually even get a snail-mail letter back from them thanking you for your time and telling you what their position on the matter is. Government only works when people make their voices heard. (hmm, is this a PPP post?) CW
  22. Yeah, losing would've felt similar to the Home Run Pukeup play.
  23. It's also on NFL Network from time to time. CW
  24. The game only being on the radio.... BTW -- if you're looking to have this published at some point, you can't actually use any of the real plays (or players) without permission from the NFL. Something to keep in mind. CW
